Carbon Fiber Slip-On Framing and Fittings
Stronger than plastic and aluminum, this is the lightest weight framing we offer. It has good resistance to chemicals and salt water. Slip the fittings over rails to construct custom railings, guard rails, storage racks, and shelving. Drill rails and connect fittings with the included hardware.

High-Strength Expandable Sleeving
With excellent torsional strength, this sleeving withstands the extreme twisting found in robotics. Made of carbon fiber, it has impact strength similar to steel yet is lighter than plastic and rubber. Resistant to corrosion and chemicals, it’s often used to protect brake lines and hydraulic lines. It’s expandable, so it stretches to fit over items for easy installation, then tightens around its contents for a secure fit. The braided construction permits heat and moisture to dissipate. Cut with scissors or a hot-blade knife.
Ultra-Strength Lightweight Carbon Fiber U-Channels
- Color: Black
- Tensile Strength: 103,000 psi (Excellent)
- Fiber Tensile Stiffness: Standard (33-36 msi)
- Maximum Temperature: 275° F
- Impact Strength: Not Rated
- Hardness: Not Rated
- For Use Outdoors: No
Often used to make railings, edge covers, and other structural framing parts, these carbon fiber U-channels add stiffness and strength to applications without adding a lot of weight. They’re similar in strength to 6061 aluminum yet lighter in weight. With a plain weave and 0°/90° construction layup, all are easy to machine. They won’t splinter when cut.

Lighter than aluminum while remaining rigid, these angles are often used as brackets in structural framing, machinery, and robotics. Known for its use in the aerospace industry, carbon fiber offers a good balance of weight and strength. These angles reduce wear and stress on motorized parts because they are lightweight, extending the life of machinery.
They are made from layers of woven fabric that prevent fibers from splintering when cut. This checked carbon fiber is easy to machine and has a classic carbon fiber-look.
