Hacksaw Blade Assortments

Be ready for a variety of hacksaw jobs—each blade in these sets differs in teeth per inch. Choose fewer teeth per inch for fast, rough cutting; choose more teeth per inch for a slower, smoother cut. The teeth are high-speed steel, so the blades last twice as long as blades with carbon steel teeth and cut harder materials. Good for precise, controlled cuts, the blades are often used to cut through pipe and sheet metal in tight spaces.
Blades with a steel body can bend slightly when working in tight spaces. They’re also known as bimetal blades.
Blades with a high-speed steel body are more rigid than blades with a steel body for accurate, straight cuts. Their teeth are ground into a forward angle, so they cut faster and remove 30% more material with each stroke than long-life blades.
