    Long-Life Hacksaw Blades

Image of Product. Front orientation. Hacksaw Blades. Long-Life Hacksaw Blades.
With high-speed steel teeth, these blades last twice as long as blades with carbon steel teeth. The teeth are also harder and sharper, so they can cut through metal, plastic, and wood. These blades fit into hand-powered hacksaws and are often used to cut through pipe and sheet metal in tight spaces, or when you want the precision and control of a hand-powered saw. Choose fewer teeth per inch for fast, rough cutting; choose more teeth per inch for a slower, smoother cut.
Steel Body—Blades with a steel body are more flexible than high-speed steel blades, so they can bend slightly when working in tight areas. Since they have high-speed steel teeth, they’re also known as bimetal blades.
High-Speed Steel Body—Blades with a high-speed steel body are more rigid than steel blades for straight, accurate cuts.

    Heavy Duty Long-Life Hacksaw Blades

Image of Product. Front orientation. Hacksaw Blades. Heavy Duty Long-Life Hacksaw Blades.
With teeth ground into a forward angle, these blades cut faster and remove 30% more material with each stroke than long-life blades. The teeth are hardened high-speed steel, so the blades last twice as long as blades with carbon steel teeth. They’re primarily used to cut through metal but can also be used on plastic and wood. These blades are often used to cut through pipe and sheet metal in tight spaces. They work well for precise, controlled cuts. Choose fewer teeth per inch for fast, rough cutting; choose more teeth per inch for a slower, smoother cut.

Made of carbon steel, these blades have hardened, sharp teeth that bite into and cut soft materials such as mild steel, copper, plastic, and wood. They fit into hand-powered hacksaws and are often used to cut through pipe and sheet metal in tight spaces or when you want the precision and control of a hand-powered saw. Choose fewer teeth per inch for fast, rough cutting; choose more teeth per inch for a slower, smoother cut.
