Removable Figure-Eight Connecting Links—For Lifting

Hammer the pin through the center to assemble these links. They’re also known as hammer locks and sling links. Often used to connect the legs of chain sling to a master link, these links are good for general lifting applications. All meet strict ASME safety standards for lifting.

Links for Grade 120 chain are the strongest links we offer. They are approximately 20% stronger than links for Grade 100 chain and about 35% stronger than links for Grade 80 chain. Links for Grade 100 chain are approximately 20% stronger than links for Grade 80 chain. Links for Grade 63 chain are approximately 60% as strong as links for Grade 80 chain.

Powder-coated steel links have mild corrosion resistance. Stainless steel links better resist corrosion compared to steel links.

Removable Triangle-Shaped Connecting Links—For Lifting

The flat side lets webbing and strapping lay flat, so they don’t slide and bunch. These links are often used to connect webbing to a master link. They meet strict ASME safety standards for lifting. To assemble, hammer the pin through the center. They’re also known as hammer locks and sling links.

Riveted Hammer-Close Connecting Links—Not for Lifting

Strike the prongs with a ball peen hammer and they expand to hold the connecting link together. Never reuse links after they’ve been closed.

Galvanized steel links have a thick coating for corrosion resistance.

316 stainless steel links have excellent resistance to salt water and chemicals.

Pear-Shaped Riveted Hammer-Close Connecting Links—Not for Lifting

Restrict rope and chain movement with the narrow end, attach multiple connectors to the wide end, and then hammer these links closed. Using a ball peen hammer, strike the prongs until they expand and hold the link together. Made of galvanized steel, these links have a thick coating for corrosion resistance. Never reuse these links after they've been closed.
