Plastic Hex Head Screws
Fully Threaded
Made from plastic, these screws are chemical and oil resistant, nonconductive, and lightweight. Length is measured from under the head.
PTFE screws are the most chemical- and temperature-resistant plastic screws. They withstand salt water and a wide range of chemicals, including aggressive chemicals such as sulfuric and nitric acid. They don’t absorb moisture. Extreme temperatures also won’t affect their performance—they stay strong from -100° F to 500° F.
Match the thread spacing of mating components. Coarse threads are the industry standard; choose these screws if you don’t know the pitch or threads per inch. Fine threads are closely spaced to prevent loosening from vibration.
