Half-Surface Mount |
Mount doors that don’t have cutouts (mortises) to frames that do. These hinges have a larger pin and thicker leaves and knuckles than other surface-mount hinges. They support more weight, provide more security, and withstand frequent opening and closing. Drill your own holes, or weld hinges into place for permanent mounting that resists stress and deters tampering.
Nonremovable Pin—The tamper-resistant choice. Since the pin can’t be removed, the door can only be taken down by removing the hinge completely.
