Surface-Mount Hinges with Holes
Hinges with a nonremovable pin deter tampering.
Zinc-plated low-carbon steel and brass hinges are more corrosion resistant than painted low-carbon steel.
Galvanized low-carbon steel hinges have better corrosion resistance than zinc-plated low-carbon steel and brass.
304 and 430 stainless steel hinges are more corrosion resistant than zinc. They also have good chemical resistance.
Aluminum hinges are about half the weight of low-carbon steel. They have mild corrosion resistance.
