Rams for Hydraulic Jacks

Style D |
Push or pry apart material with these rams by attaching them to a hydraulic pump. Use hose to connect the ram to a pump; add a pressure gauge to monitor hydraulic oil pressure levels and guard against overload.
Style D—Style D rams lift or push material and have an unthreaded hole through the center that can be used to create a pulling action. Run a threaded rod through the bottom of the ram and fasten or weld the rod to the material you are trying to pull. Often used to free stuck parts.
Ram Collar Thread Size—Rams with collar threads are threaded at the top of the ram for mounting in a fixture or with a mounting plate (sold separately; see Mounting Plates for Hydraulic Jacks)

Lift in tight spaces where a bottle jack won't fit. Jacks include a ram, a hand pump with hydraulic oil, a pressure gauge, and a hydraulic hose. For vertical use, the pump head (where the handle meets the pump) must be pointed down.
Warning: Never use to support people or loads over people.
Jacks with ram center hole have an unthreaded hole for attaching a threaded rod so you can use them in pulling applications.
Rams with collar threads are threaded at the top for mounting in a fixture or with a mounting plate (sold separately; see Mounting Plates for Hydraulic Jacks).
