Chemical-Resistant PVDF Hose Fittings for Food and Beverage
- Maximum Pressure: 205 psi @ 72° F

To stand up to the harsh chemicals used to clean food-processing lines, these fittings are made of PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride), also known as Kynar. They’ll resist degrading when exposed to strong alkali and highly acidic solutions, unlike other plastic fittings, such as those made from nylon and acetal. They are NSF/ANSI 61 certified for use in drinking water systems, and they won't impart any tastes or odors. Use them with both hot and cold substances. Since they're made of PVDF, these fittings can stand up to impact. Rated UL 94 V-0, they meet strict flammability standards.
Warning: Never use plastic hose fittings and pipe with compressed air or gas.

Medium-Pressure Braided Chemical Hose with Flanges

No need for a gasket—this hose’s PTFE liner flares out as it passes through the flanges, so your line’s contents never touch the fittings. Since it’s made of PTFE, the hose resists cracking and weakening from some of the harshest chemicals, including sulfuric and hydrochloric acid. An outer stainless steel braid adds strength and support. For easy bolt alignment, the flanged ends swivel.

Vibration-Resistant Chemical Hose with Flanges

Transfer harsh chemicals while reducing vibration that could damage pumps or other equipment. This hose is made of corrugated stainless steel and reinforced by a stainless steel braid, so it absorbs vibration instead of passing it on. Also known as a pump connector, it comes in lengths that are commonly attached to pumps. The PTFE liner resists cracking or weakening from some of the most corrosive chemicals, including sulfuric and hydrochloric acid. There’s no need for a gasket because the liner flares out as it passes through the flanges, keeping your line’s contents from touching the fittings. For easy bolt alignment, the flanged ends swivel.

High-Purity PVDF Pipe Fittings for Corrosive Chemicals
Made of PVDF that’s finished to a 12 Ra smoothness, these fittings handle some of the harshest chemicals without leaching contaminants into your line. They won’t accumulate particles and are easy to clean, thanks to their smoothness. Comparable to Kynar, these fittings handle most organic solvents that would dissolve CPVC, and chlorine or nitric acid that would weaken polypropylene. You can use them at higher temperatures than CPVC and polypropylene. These fittings meet UL 94 V-0 and FM standards for flame retardance. They’re also FDA compliant for direct contact with food, and they meet ASTM requirements for dimensions and tolerances.
Connect them to pipe with socket fusion welding for a strong, permanent bond. Use a socket fusion tool with a heater bushing (sold separately) that matches your pipe size.

Threaded fittings can be disconnected as needed for maintenance and repair. To prevent leaks and cracks, apply thread sealant tape (sold separately) to the male threads, and don’t overtighten them. First tighten by hand, then use a wrench to tighten one or two more turns.
