Hose Fittings For Dry Abrasive Materials

Use these fittings with sand, steel shot, and other abrasive material. Fittings have a unique claw-style head that connects to other abrasive-material hose fittings with a quarter twist. They are aluminum, which is lightweight with good corrosion resistance.

These couplings work together to connect your hose to your blaster. Couplings with a female socket connect end attach to your hose. You can also use two of these couplings to join two hoses to make a longer run. Apply lubricant inside the coupling, slide it onto the hose, then twist until the hose is flush with the opening of the coupling. Secure the coupling in place with the included fasteners. Couplings with a female threaded pipe end thread onto your blaster. The claw end connects to the coupling on your hose.

Standard port couplings only connect to other couplings with standard ports. Full port couplings only connect to other couplings with full ports.

Note: Fittings are only for use with abrasive-material hose.

Dry Abrasive-Material Hose

This hose is made of tough gum rubber that stands up to sand, steel shot, and other abrasives. The hose and cover materials are conductive to dissipate static buildup. The cover resists abrasion and won’t degrade when exposed to ozone and UV light. It’s also pin pricked to prevent blistering. This hose is also known as sandblast hose.

Extend the length of the hose or adapt its size with twist-claw hose couplings. Connect your hose to an abrasive blasting nozzle using a nozzle coupling.
