Nuts for High-Pressure Nipples for Compressed Gas
Slide a high-pressure hose nipple for compressed gas into one of these nuts to connect a pipe to the inlet of a pressure regulator. They are also known as CGA (Compressed Gas Association) nuts and inlet nuts.
316 stainless steel nuts have excellent corrosion resistance.
Note: Nuts have a CGA, BS, or DIN number that corresponds to a specific type of gas. Choose a nut with the same number as your tank and other system components.

High-Pressure Nipples for Compressed Gas
Commonly used in high-pressure welding applications, these nipples connect your tank to the inlet of a pressure regulator. One side has a threaded pipe end and the other side is designed to sit inside a threaded nut (sold separately) so you can make a threaded connection.
316 stainless steel nipples have excellent corrosion resistance.

Stainless Steel Tubing for Corrosive Gases

A thin layer of silicon on the interior provides a smooth surface and offers protection against corrosive gases.
Seamless tubing is smoother and stronger than welded tubing and can be flared without splitting. Welded tubing is more economical than seamless tubing; it has a smoothed weld bead on the inside to reduce particle buildup.
304 stainless steel has very good corrosion resistance.
316 stainless steel offers excellent corrosion resistance.

Miniature Stainless Steel Tubing for Corrosive Gases

A thin layer of silicon on the interior provides a smooth surface and offers protection against corrosive gases. Tubing has thin walls and is made to tight tolerances for use in precision applications. It is welded with a smoothed weld bead on the inside to reduce particle buildup. It also has very good corrosion resistance. To cut this tubing, you can use abrasive cutoff wheels and deburring tools (not included).
Manifolds for Supplied-Air Respirators for Plant Air Lines
Divert compressed air from a single line to two respirators. Often used in plants with limited air sources, these manifolds allow two workers to share the same line. Supplied-Air Helmet Respirators for Plant Air Lines
Good for use around abrasive blasters and painters, these respirators are made of high-density materials that protect against rough airborne particles. The inner lens meets ANSI/ISEA standards for impact resistance. These respirators have a pinlock suspension that adjusts with interlocking straps.
Add extension hose (sold separately) to work up to 300 ft. from an air supply. To maintain NIOSH approval, respirators must be used with the hoses listed.
Use a cooling tube or a heating/cooling tube (sold separately) to maintain a comfortable temperature inside these respirators. Turn a knob to control the amount of warm air flowing in from your air supply.

Supplied-Air Hood Respirators for Plant Air Lines
Made of chemical-resistant Tychem 2000 (formerly known as Tyvek QC), these hood respirators have both an outer bib and an inner bib that tucks into your clothing for splash protection. They hook up to your plant's air lines—because you don’t need to draw air through a filter or cartridge, resistance and fatigue are minimized. Respirators have a ratchet suspension that adjusts with an easy-turn knob.
These respirators do not require fit testing. The hood has a loose, comfortable fit that leaves room for a ponytail or beard. When the hood becomes worn, swap it with a replacement hood (sold separately). If you need a different material or style, select a respirator hood that’s compatible with your respirator.
Add extension hose (sold separately) to increase your span up to 300 ft. To maintain NIOSH approval, respirators must be used with the hoses listed.

When connected to an air pump, respirators provide a continuous supply of clean air. They have a chemical-resistant Tychem 2000 (formerly known as Tyvek QC) hood that protects against light liquid splashes. Tuck the hood with outer bib and inner bib into your clothing for splash protection. The ratchet suspension hat adjusts with an easy-turn knob.
If you need a different material or style, select a respirator hood that’s compatible with your respirator. Respirator hoods do not require fit testing, and they leave enough room to fit a ponytail or beard without compromising your respiratory protection. Hoods are available in a variety of materials and protection factors.
