Made of nylon, this hose keeps refrigerant in but moisture out, protecting your air conditioning or refrigeration system from freezing or corroding. It stays strong and flexible across the wide range of temperatures common to cooling applications. Safe for use outdoors, it has an EPDM cover that protects it from ozone and UV damage. It meets SAE J3062 Type E, so it won't become brittle and crack from most common refrigerants and oils used in automotive air conditioning.
You’ll need hose clamp pliers and refrigerant fittings to make a hose assembly.
Shielded Flexible Plastic Conduit
Covered with a copper braid, this conduit protects wire and cable from electromagnetic interference (EMI) caused by motors and other equipment. Use with fittings for shielded flexible plastic conduit. This conduit is also known as mechanical protection tubing (MPT).
These adapters provide electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection when connecting shielded flexible plastic conduit to a knockout in an outlet box or enclosure. Twist the compression end over the conduit; tighten the compression ring to secure.
A brass locknut is required (not included) when installing in an unthreaded knockout.
