Easily access lines that move highly alcoholic or acidic wet food and beverages—this hose has flanged ends that join with quick-clamp fittings. Also known as distillery hose, this hose is UHMW polyethylene, so it won't crack or degrade while moving liquid with a 99% alcohol concentration. It also won’t impart tastes or odors on the contents of your line. This hose is FDA compliant and its fittings are 3-A certified, so it’s safe to use with food. Both the hose and fittings stand up to repeated rinsing with water and mild chemicals, making it a good choice for food and beverage processing environments. The hose also won’t wear down or leave marks if dragged, become brittle from oil, or break down from ozone. Reinforced with yarn and steel wire, this hose holds its shape and won’t collapse when hooked up to a vacuum pump.
The fittings are also known as tri-clamp fittings. Attach them to other quick-clamp fittings with a gasket and a clamp.
