For frequent connections, this hose has a socket end that's faster to connect and disconnect than a threaded fitting. This hose bends twice as sharply and resists wear and tear 80 times better than our basic hydraulic hose, thanks to its two layers of blended rubber. Quick-disconnect plugs and sockets are sleeve-lock style. They’re compatible with couplings that meet ISO 7241-1 series B. To connect, slide back the sleeve on the socket, insert the plug, and release the sleeve. To disconnect, slide back the sleeve and pull out the plug. The socket has a shut-off valve that stops the flow when you disconnect. The threaded end swivels until tightened, so you don’t need to rotate the entire hose during installation. The threaded end meets SAE J516 and ISO 12151-5 dimensional standards.
