    Headless Clevis Pins with Retaining Ring Grooves

    Secured with a retaining ring at either end, you can add and remove parts without having to take the pin all the way out. These pins are commonly used with rod ends, hydraulic cylinders, and other pivoting components. In addition to taking up less space than cotter pins, the retaining rings surround the entire pin, so bumps are unlikely to work it loose.
    Unlike most cotter pins, which install by hand, you will need retaining ring pliers to insert and remove the included rings.
    Steel
    Zinc-Plated Carbon Steel—These pins withstand occasional exposure to moisture. However, since friction from moving parts can wear away the finish, they're not ideal for wet environments. While not nearly as corrosion resistant as stainless steel, they are stronger and won’t deform under stress.

    Pivot Bracket

    Pivot brackets are designed to be used with clevis rod ends and clevis pins (each component sold separately). When connected to a clevis rod end, they allow a hydraulic cylinder to move in an arc. Do not mount pivot brackets directly onto the cylinder.
    Stainless Steel—Stainless steel brackets resist corrosion better than steel and iron brackets, making them a good choice for wet and damp environments.
