Hose Couplings for Hydraulic Jacks

Connect a hose to a ram or pump.
Quick Disconnect—High-pressure minimal spill couplings have a flat face, which ensures minimal fluid loss when connecting and disconnecting your hose line. They're double-shut-off style, so there is a valve in both the plug and the socket. To connect, push the plug into the socket until you hear a "click." To disconnect, slide the sleeve forward until the plug ejects.

High-Pressure Thread-Lock Quick-Disconnect
Hose Couplings for Hydraulic Fluid

A complete coupling consists of a plug and a socket (both sold separately) that thread together to form a stronger connection than other types of quick-disconnect couplings. To connect, insert the plug into the socket, then slide the sleeve forward and thread it onto the plug. To disconnect, unthread the plug from the sleeve, then slide the sleeve back and pull out the plug. All of the High-Pressure Thread-Lock quick-disconnect plugs are compatible with any of the High-Pressure Thread-Lock quick-disconnect sockets of the same coupling size, regardless of the pipe size. Couplings are compatible with Enerpac Series and Parker 3000 couplings. Also known as double shut-off couplings, the plugs and sockets both have a shut-off valve that stops the flow when the coupling is separated.
Plugs are also known as nipples.
Zinc-plated steel plugs and sockets are stronger and more durable than 316 stainless steel plugs and sockets. They have fair corrosion resistance. 316 stainless steel plugs and sockets have excellent corrosion resistance.
NPTF (Dryseal) threads are compatible with NPT threads.
Note: To ensure a correct fit, make sure that the plug and socket have the same coupling size. Pressure ratings are given for static (constant) pressure conditions.
Warning: Stop the flow before you disconnect the line.

Heavy-Duty Thread-Lock Quick-Disconnect Hose Couplings for Hydraulic Fluid

Ideal for lines with rapid changes in pressure and flow, these couplings have threads that lock them together. They connect more securely than push-to-connect couplings, whose bearings wear out in high-impulse conditions. A complete coupling consists of a plug and socket (both sold separately). To limit fluid loss when you connect and disconnect them, they both have flat faces for a close fit, as well as shut-off valves to stop flow. For these reasons, they’re also known as flush-face and double shut-off couplings. They meet ISO 18869, which is an international standard that defines methods for testing and evaluating the performance of screw-to-connect hydraulic couplings.
To make a coupling, align the plug and socket, then push and turn the socket sleeve toward the plug while engaging the threads. Allow the threads to pull the sleeve onto the plug; do not push the sleeve onto the plug. Thread until the sleeve meets the plug body—start by hand, and if pressure built up inside the hose makes the two halves hard to connect, use a wrench to finish the job. To disconnect, unlock the socket sleeve with a wrench, then unthread by hand while keeping the halves aligned. Stop the flow before you disconnect the line.
Note: To ensure a correct fit, make sure that the plug and socket have the same coupling size. Pressure ratings are given for static (constant) pressure conditions.

Impact-Resistant Thread-Lock Quick-Disconnect
Hose Couplings for Hydraulic Fluid

Made of brass with a steel wing nut, these couplings are tough enough to handle occasional drops to concrete and frequent connections on dump truck, oil rigs, and other heavy duty equipment. Compared to push-to-connect couplings, these are threaded, so they're easier to connect when there's pressure in your line. The threads engage as you tighten the coupling, overcoming the pressure gradually rather than all at once. To limit fluid loss when you connect and disconnect them, they both have flat faces for a close fit, as well as shut-off valves that stop flow. This is why they’re known as flush-face and double shut-off couplings.
A complete coupling consists of a plug and socket (both sold separately). Sometimes referred to as wing-style couplings, the socket has a wing nut that makes it easy to tighten and loosen these couplings by hand. Make sure to thread the socket until it's covering the O-ring on the outside of the plug.
Note: To ensure a correct fit, make sure that the plug and socket have the same coupling size. Pressure ratings are given for static (constant) pressure conditions.
Warning: Stop the flow before you disconnect the line.

High-Pressure Minimal-Spill Quick-Disconnect
Hose Couplings for Hydraulic Fluid

These couplings have the highest pressure rating of all the minimal-spill couplings we offer. Also known as flush-face couplings, the plugs and sockets have a flat face, which allows them to mate close against each other, reducing fluid loss when connecting and disconnecting the line. A complete coupling consists of a plug and a socket (both sold separately) that connect and disconnect quickly. Use them when you need frequent access to a line. All of the High-Pressure Minimal-Spill quick-disconnect plugs are compatible with any of the High-Pressure Minimal-Spill quick-disconnect sockets of the same coupling size, regardless of the pipe size. Couplings are compatible with Snap-Tite 71 couplings. Also known as double shut-off couplings, the plugs and sockets both have a shut-off valve that stops the flow when the coupling is separated.
Plugs are also known as nipples.
Sockets are push-to-connect style. To connect, push the plug into the socket until you hear a click. To disconnect, slide the sleeve on the socket forward until the plug ejects.
Zinc-plated steel plugs and sockets have better strength and durability than 316 stainless steel plugs and sockets. They have fair corrosion resistance. 316 stainless steel plugs and sockets have excellent corrosion resistance.
NPTF (Dryseal) threads are compatible with NPT threads. NPSF (National Pipe Straight Fuel) threads are compatible with NPT threads.
Note: To ensure a correct fit, make sure that the plug and socket have the same coupling size. Pressure ratings are given for static (constant) pressure conditions.
Warning: Never attempt to connect or disconnect couplings when operating at maximum pressure. Stop the flow before you disconnect the line.
