Your go-to option for day-to-day leveling. Made from aluminum, these levels won't crack or warp the way plastic ones do. Lay them against everything from building frames to floor tiles to make sure your surface is level horizontally, vertically, or at an angle.
Angle-Measuring Levels—Measure precise angles while leveling without switching tools. To find the angle of your surface, rotate the angle indicator vial until the bubble is level.
Magnetic Levels—Stick to metal surfaces for hands-free leveling.

Extendable Long-Distance Levels

Level horizontal and vertical surfaces up to 10 or 12 feet. Pull out the extendable portion of these levels to reach across the entire length of doors, windows, and large frames for accurate readings. Push it back in and use the two hand grips for easy carrying. The extendable section has a ruler on both sides to measure distances without extra tools.

Leveling Washers for I-Beams

Commonly called beveled washers, these are tapered to fit inside an I-beam's flange to provide a parallel bearing surface.
Black-Oxide Iron—Black-oxide iron washers have a matte-black finish that prevents corrosion in dry environments.
Galvanized Iron—Galvanized iron washers are corrosion resistant in wet environments.
Aluminum—Aluminum washers are lightweight and corrosion resistant in wet environments.
18-8 Stainless Steel—18-8 stainless steel washers have good chemical resistance and may be mildly magnetic. These washers are the most corrosion-resistant option.
Zinc-Plated Steel—Zinc-plated steel washers are coated for corrosion resistance in wet environments.
Galvanized Steel—Galvanized steel washers are ten times more corrosion resistant than zinc-plated washers.
