    Hex Opening

    Keep a collection of sizes handy to turn thin, awkwardly placed fasteners tucked away in confined spaces. Use the 60° or 75° angled head to reach around obstacles and apply more force without constant repositioning. The two heads save you time and reduce the number of tools you need to keep on hand. Also known as ignition wrenches.
    Round Opening—The rounded edges spread force evenly to prevent stripping your fasteners. Use them on hex-head fasteners.
    Hex Opening—Snugly grip the sides rather then the corners of commonly used hex-head fasteners so they won't slip, even when the nuts and bolts are rusted or damaged.
    Black-Oxide Steel—The dark, matte coating protects these wrenches from wear and won't flake off. They offer minimal corrosion resistance, though, so they're best for dry environments.
    Chrome-Plated Steel—The most popular finish, these wrenches won't rust or chip. Although they withstand moisture better than black oxide, they don't hold up to harsh chemicals as well as stainless steel.
    Dull—With a textured finish, these wrenches won't slip out of your hands, even when greasy or oily.
