Threaded Round Plugs for Straight-Thread Pipe
Seal tube and hose fittings to keep their straight threads protected from contaminants during fabrication and storage.
Aluminum plugs withstand temperatures up to 650° F, which is more than four times as high as polyethylene and nylon plugs. They are also more abrasion resistant. Install them manually.

Threaded Round Plugs for 37° Flared Tube

Designed to fit into 37° flared connections such as those found on JIC and SAE fittings, these plugs protect internally threaded connections from contaminants during fabrication and storage. Install them manually.
Aluminum plugs withstand temperatures up to 650° F, which is more than four times as high as polyethylene plugs. They are also more abrasion resistant.
Polyethylene plugs resist chemicals better than aluminum plugs.

Threaded Caps

Protect externally threaded components from contaminants during fabrication and storage.
Aluminum caps withstand temperatures up to 650° F, which is more than four times as high as plastic caps. They are also more abrasion resistant. All meet military specification MIL-C-5501/3 for dust and moisture protection.
Plastic caps resist corrosion better than aluminum caps.
