    Granite Inspection Parallels

Image of Product. Front orientation. Inspection Parallels. Granite Inspection Parallels.
Support and align workpieces for precise measuring and inspecting. Made of black granite, these inspection parallels won’t rust or warp from temperature changes, and they won’t scratch surfaces. Unlike metal inspection parallels, they’re also nonmagnetic, so they won’t interfere with sensitive electronic equipment. Made in pairs, these inspection parallels are precision ground to tight tolerances for matching flat surfaces on two or four sides. They come with a certificate traceable to NIST confirming their accuracy.
2 Precision-Ground Sides—Inspection parallels with 2 precision-ground sides have a tight parallel tolerance on the top and bottom edges.
4 Precision-Ground Sides—Inspection parallels with 4 precision-ground sides have a tight parallel tolerance on the top edge, bottom edge, and both faces.
Inspection-Grade A Plate—Inspection Grade A inspection parallels are used for general inspections and quality-control work. They’re slightly less precise than Grade AA ones.
Laboratory-Grade AA Plate—Laboratory Grade AA inspection parallels have the tightest tolerance for the highest level of accuracy. They’re best for inspections and quality-control work in calibration labs.

    Granite Inspection V-Blocks

Image of Attribute. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Inspection V-Blocks. Granite Inspection V-Blocks.
Made in pairs, these inspection V-blocks are precision ground to tight tolerances for straight sides, square corners, and centered grooves. Since their top surfaces are perfectly matched, they keep the centerline of your workpiece level and parallel. These blocks are often used to precisely align round workpieces for measuring or inspecting. They come with a certificate traceable to NIST confirming their accuracy. Unlike metal blocks, these black granite blocks don’t rust or warp from temperature changes. They’re also nonmagnetic, so they won’t interfere with sensitive electronic equipment.
Inspection Grade A—Inspection Grade A blocks are used for general inspections and quality-control work. They’re slightly less precise than Grade AA blocks.
Laboratory Grade AA—Laboratory Grade AA blocks have the tightest tolerance for the highest level of accuracy. They’re best for inspections and quality-control work in calibration labs.

    Granite Inspection Setup Blocks

Image of Product. Front orientation. Inspection Setup Blocks.
Machined in pairs, these blocks are precision ground to tolerances thinner than a sheet of paper to give you the flattest and squarest surface for positioning workpieces. Since they are perfectly aligned to one another, they’ll keep your workpieces level and parallel. Also known as 1-2-3 blocks, they're typically used to elevate, support, and align parts for measuring and inspecting. They're made from granite, so they won’t scratch the surface of your workpiece. They also won’t warp when temperatures fluctuate. Unlike metal blocks, these granite blocks are nonmagnetic, so they won’t interfere with sensitive electronic equipment. They come with a certificate of accuracy that's traceable to NIST.
Inspection-Grade A Plate—Inspection-grade A blocks are your go-to for general inspections and quality-control work. These blocks are slightly less precise than grade AA blocks with double the tolerance.
Laboratory-Grade AA Plate—Laboratory-grade AA blocks are best for precision inspections and quality-control work in calibration labs. These blocks have the tightest tolerance for the highest level of accuracy.
