This hard plastic edge trim prevents denting and wear on everything from enclosure panels to safety mirrors. It stands up to knocks and scrapes over longer periods than our rubber and foam trim, though it doesn’t offer the same protective cushion when people and parts bump against it.

Chemical-Resistant Vinyl Plastic—This trim resists coolant, grease, fuel oils, and a range of strong acids and bases.

Abrasion- and Chemical-Resistant PEEK—Withstands cleaning with the harshest chemicals while protecting edges from frequent scuffing and wear.

Chemical-Resistant Slippery UHMW Polyethylene—Eases friction on panel doors, drawers, and other sliding surfaces while standing up to chemicals such as coolant, hydraulic fluid, and fuels. While PTFE is even slipperier, UHMW polyethylene stands up better to abrasion and wear.

High-Temperature Slippery PTFE—Stays strong and flexible at temperatures about twice as high as our other plastic trim. It’s also the slipperiest edge trim we offer, so it helps maintain a constant flow of parts on chutes, slides, and other conveying equipment.

Polypropylene—Select polypropylene for its chemical resistance. Often used on panels, boards, signs, and mirrors, it protects edges from impact.

Extra Flexible—Extra flexible surface guards are flexible enough to bend around tight corners.

Hard—Surface guards with a hard rating withstand high levels of impact, so they don't wear out from impact as quickly as softer guards. The harder the surface guard, the more impact it withstands.

Extra-Flexible Plastic Edge Trim

This edge trim–grommet combo loops around the inside of a hole, guarding the edge from dents and scuffs while cushioning runs of wire, cable, and cords. It's extra flexible to install on sharper curves and angles than reinforced plastic edge trim.

Multipurpose Polyethylene—This edge trim absorbs impact well enough for most applications. It resists a wider range of chemicals than nylon trim, but it’s more likely to scuff and wear.

Abrasion-Resistant Nylon—This hard, durable trim prevents wear to frequently scraped and bumped edges, such as those on workstations and lift tables.
