Metal-Detectable Threaded-Stud Knobs

Made for use in food processing facilities, these plastic knobs have a metal additive that sets off metal detectors if a piece breaks off into your line. They’re also bright blue, so it’s easy to find and retrieve loose pieces. They help you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs for keeping contaminated food from leaving your facility.

These knobs give you a secure grip to tighten, position, and hold components in place. Made from nylon, they’re wear resistant and won’t degrade from oil, grease, and solvents. They meet ISO 4753 standards for the ends of threaded parts, and they’re FDA compliant for direct food contact. Mount them into a threaded hole.
