Glass Funnels


Made of borosilicate glass, these funnels withstand higher temperatures and harsher chemicals than plastic funnels. Unlike some plastic, glass doesn’t leach, meaning it won’t contaminate samples. These funnels meet strict ASTM standards for laboratory glassware material and dimensions.
Style A funnels are often used with filter paper. The angled spout opening helps liquids flow smoothly without splashing.
Style B funnels are ideal for powders. They have a stout spout to quickly direct media and prevent clogs.

Plastic Funnels for Harsh Chemicals


Transfer acids, solvents, and other harsh substances with these funnels—they’re more chemical resistant than standard plastic funnels. Unlike glass or porcelain funnels, they won’t chip or shatter. A nonstick finish keeps material from clinging to the sides, so you can transfer every last bit.
Style A have an angled tip that directs the flow of liquids and helps minimize splashes.
Style B have a straight spout that helps prevent clogs when transferring powders or viscous liquids.

Porcelain Funnels


These are our most chemical- and temperature-resistant funnels. They have a flat, perforated surface inside that is designed to hold filter paper for laboratory applications. They are also known as Buchner funnels.

Glass Funnels with Stopcock

Control flow as you transfer liquid into a new container. Also known as separatory funnels, these funnels were originally used in labs to let liquid mixtures separate, like oil and water, to dispense them by density. But they have broader utility too—the stopcock lets you adjust the flow of any liquid from a trickle to a stream. Unlike most funnels, they’re enclosed at the top. Cap them to prevent spills as you move them around your station. Made entirely of borosilicate glass, they withstand high temperatures and harsh chemicals.
