    Tool Lanyards

Tether your tools to prevent accidental drops that could injure people and damage equipment below. These lanyards meet ANSI/ISEA 121 for design and performance to ensure safety when working at height. To properly tether your tool, you’ll need an attachment point on your tool and an anchor point for your lanyard.

Lanyards for hand tools are the standard option—they can be used on most tools in your toolbox.
Straight Lanyard—Straight lanyards have elastic in the webbing that stretches a little as you use your tool for ease of movement.
Coil Lanyard—Coil lanyards stretch to their full length and then return to their retracted length when you let go to prevent snags and tangles.
Wire Rope—Wire rope lanyards are more abrasion resistant than webbing lanyards. A rubber coating protects the stainless steel wire rope from corrosion.
Detachable-Elastic-Loop Connection—Lanyards with a detachable elastic loop let you swap out tools while leaving the anchor and lanyard setup in place.

Also known as horizontal lifelines, these anchor spans provide fall protection on roofs and other areas where overhead anchors aren’t available. Attach to an anchor point on both sides. Once clipped in, you can move freely along the line while remaining tethered. When used together with a lanyard and harness, these anchor spans help you meet OSHA safety standards.
Wire Rope—Wire rope anchor spans are made of galvanized steel, so they resist corrosion and abrasion better than other anchor spans. This makes them tough enough to use outdoors for lines that stay up for multiple jobs.

    Fall-Arrest Harnesses for Climbing

Image of ProductInUse. Side1 orientation. Fall-Arrest Harnesses. Fall-Arrest Harnesses for Climbing.
Stay secure while climbing ladders, poles, and other structures—a D-ring on the chest of these harnesses gives you a place to clip in while ascending and descending. Attach a lanyard to the D-ring on the back, and these harnesses will keep you upright if you fall. Used together with a lanyard and anchor, these harnesses help you meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
We offer a variety of styles—from a basic, no-nonsense version to one that you’ll barely feel. Premium harnesses offer more comfort and are easier to put on.

Style A are our most basic option. With no padding, these harnesses are less bulky than other harnesses. However, they may chafe if worn for long periods. Criss-cross straps distribute the weight evenly while keeping your arms free to move at the shoulders. These harnesses have built-in leg support straps, also known as trauma straps. If you fall, unravel the straps and hook them under your feet to ease pressure off your legs while you wait for help.
Slide Thigh Buckle—Slide thigh buckles are the basic option. However, they’re not as easy to adjust as belt thigh buckles and they need to be adjusted each time.
Belt Thigh Buckle—Belt thigh buckles reduce the risk of loosening over time. Lock them into the belt hole with each use.
Squeeze-Release Thigh Buckle—Squeeze-release thigh buckles connect and disconnect more quickly than slide and belt thigh buckles. They’re also more convenient, as you don’t have to adjust the size each time you put them on.
Impact-Indicating Stitching—Impact-indicating stitching is designed to tear during a fall or impact, so it’s easy to tell if a harness is still safe to use.
Lanyard Holders—If you have an unused lanyard, clip it to one of the lanyard holders to keep it from dragging or catching on nearby equipment.
RFID Tag—Scan the RFID tag to log inspections, track usage, and schedule maintenance to keep these harnesses compliant with safety regulations.

Style B are a step up from the basic option—they have padding on the back and shoulders for comfort and to reduce chaffing. As you bend, sit, and move, the leg straps keep pressure off your inner thighs and won’t ride up. Their hardware is aluminum for good strength without weighing you down as you climb.

    Vertical Fall-Arrest Anchor Spans

Also known as vertical lifelines, these anchor spans protect you from falls when climbing vertical structures such as ladders and scaffolding. Durable enough for outdoor use, the polyester plastic rope withstands abrasion, rot, and mildew. It can also handle temperatures up to 300° F.
To use these anchor spans, you’ll need a harness and a lanyard with a rope grab (sold separately). Attach the snap hook at one end of the rope to an overhead anchor point. If you fall, the rope grab stops you within inches. These anchor spans help you meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards.

With D-rings on the back, chest, and each hip, these harnesses are the most versatile we offer. Clip your lanyard onto the chest D-ring to scale tall ladders without the line getting in the way. Keep your hands free for tools and tether yourself close to your work by clipping into the hip D-rings. Attach your lanyard to the back D-ring, and these harnesses will keep you upright if you fall. When used together with a lanyard and anchor, these harnesses help you meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
We offer a variety of styles—from a basic, no-nonsense version to one that you’ll barely feel. Premium harnesses offer more comfort and are easier to put on and take off.

Style A are our most basic option. They don’t have padding, so they’re less bulky than other harnesses. However, they may chafe if worn for long periods. The straps come together toward the middle of your chest so your arms and torso can move freely.
Belt Thigh Buckle—Belt thigh buckles reduce the risk of loosening over time. Lock them into the belt hole with each use.
Impact-Indicating Stitching—Impact-indicating stitching is designed to tear during a fall or impact, so it’s easy to tell if a harness is still safe to use.

Our most versatile harness for tasks at height in areas with arc-flash and fire hazards—these harnesses have a D-ring on the back, chest, and each hip. Made with Nomex and Kevlar, they’re tested to ASTM F887 for arc-flash protection. Attach a lanyard to the D-ring on the back, and these harnesses will keep you upright if you fall. The chest D-ring lets you clip into ladder-climbing systems without the line getting in your way as you climb. Hip D-rings let you tether yourself close to your work, so your hands are free for tools and equipment. When used together with an anchor and a lanyard, these harnesses help you meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
Impact-Indicating Stitching—Impact-indicating stitching is designed to tear during a fall or impact, so it’s easy to tell if a harness is still safe to use.

    Tool Tether Attachments

Clip-on attachments are for long-necked tools with wide ends, such as wrenches, pry bars, and hammers. The end of your tool needs to be wider than where the attachment point rests, so it won’t slip off. Made of stainless steel, they resist corrosion and are more durable than other attachments. They may slide up and down the tool as you use them. Add threadlocker to the pin to prevent loosening over time.
ANSI/ISEA 121—They meet ANSI/ISEA 121 for design and performance to ensure safety when working at height.

Tape-on attachments work for almost any tool. Use them on screwdrivers, pliers, and other hand tools. Loop the webbing with a D-ring around your tool, cinch it tight, and secure with tape (sold separately). The flexible tape molds to surfaces of different shapes and sizes.

Tethered to your wrist, your tools will always be within reach. When working at height, these lanyards prevent accidental drops that could harm people and damage equipment below. They meet ANSI/ISEA 121 for design and performance to ensure safety. To properly tether your tool, you’ll need an attachment point on your tool.
Detachable-Elastic-Loop Connection—Lanyards with a detachable elastic loop let you quickly disconnect tools from the wristband—no need to undo the loop. Add more detachable loops (sold separately) so you can have other tools ready to snap in.
