    Serrated Step

    Move these sturdy ladders between work areas. They have powder or polyurethane coatings to resist rust. The number of steps listed includes the platform. For regular indoor use, choose a perforated or rubber-coated tread. For dirty jobsites, choose a diamond or serrated tread so debris falls through the steps.
    Note: All ladders meet OSHA or Cal/OSHA dimensional and construction standards. Check local, state, and federal codes, including OSHA, for safe set up and operating practices.
    Rubber-Coated Step—Rubber-coated tread has good slip resistance when clean, but oil will make it slick. The rubber coating can wear off over time.
    Diamond-Tread Step—Diamond tread is coarse for some slip resistance.
    Perforated Step—Perforated tread has raised holes to keep you from slipping.
    Serrated Step—Serrated tread has a sharp, raised surface for the highest level of slip resistance. The surface also scrapes mud from your work boots as you climb. Without boots, you may be uncomfortable standing for long periods on the sharp surface.
    Spring-Loaded Casters—Spring-loaded casters stay stationary while in use—when you step on, the casters retract; when you step off, the casters roll again.

    Serrated Step

    About half the weight of steel or stainless steel ladders, these aluminum ladders are easy to move around your workspace. They’re also corrosion resistant, so you can wash them down and use them in wet areas. The taller the ladder, the wider the base needs to be to remain compliant with OSHA or Cal/OSHA.     Built-In Ladder Carts

    No need to lug around a ladder and a cart—these carts do the job of both. The built-in ladder is secured by a spring, so it lowers to the ground for safety when you stand on it and raises when you step off. For ease of steering, these carts have two swivel and two rigid casters with nonmarking, rubber tread-on-core wheels to absorb shock on rough floors and in areas with debris. Nonmarking rubber feet on the rails protect floors when the ladder is in use. The top and bottom shelves are lipped to contain spills and prevent items from sliding off.
