About Hazardous Location Environmental Ratings

IP rated for submersion, these flashlights keep working even if dropped in water. They run on a rechargeable battery, saving you the hassle of frequent battery swaps.

Flashlights with a flood beam are especially good for up-close tasks and inspection work. Flashlights with a spot beam have a bright center for long-distance illumination. Style A have a slim, rectangular body that fits comfortably in your pocket. Those with a laser can be used as a pointer.

Style B have a UV light, so you can illuminate fluorescent dyes to check for leaks and surface contaminants. They also have a green laser pointer. Charge them with the included magnetic base or a USB-C cable.

Style D combine a flashlight with a built-in laser pointer—both can be used simultaneously. They’ll run for a full 24 hours on one set of batteries, so they’re best for continuous use. They’ve been drop tested from 6 ft.

Hazardous Location Flashlights

Spot Beam

Safely light up work in explosion-prone areas. Rated NEC Class I, these flashlights are safe to use in areas with ignitable concentrations of flammable or combustible gases, vapors, and liquids.

IP67, IP07 and IP08 rated flashlights will still work after being temporarily submerged in water. IP67 rated lights are also sealed against dust.

Styles A-H are intrinsically safe. They cannot cause an explosion, so they're a better choice where hazardous material is present in normal operating conditions.

Style E can also work as a laser pointer. You can use the laser and spot beam separately or at the same time.
