Laydown External Threading Insert Holders

Pair these holders with a laydown carbide insert (sold separately) to cut threads on the outside of a workpiece. Inserts sit lower in these K-code holders than in other types of holders, which lets you thread closer to a shoulder. A clamp holds the insert firmly in place to prevent twisting and create precise threads. Fit these holders directly into a lathe tool post or holder—no tool block needed. They’re also known as indexable insert holders. They cut in a right-hand direction, meaning the holder moves from right to left toward the lathe chuck.
