Welding Leggings

These abrasion-, tear-, and cut-resistant leggings protect your lower legs and feet against radiant heat, flames, and welding sparks.
Style A are also known as spats. Made of leather, these leggings conform to your foot and ankle for lightweight protection. They have an elastic band that hugs the lower calf. Adjustable foot straps keep foot covers in place.
Style B are knee-high leather; they conform to your legs better than Kevlar guards without weighing you down. They have a foot strap to help keep covers in place.
Styles C and D have a spring-tension frame, which supports leggings so they keep their shape and won’t slide off. They are knee-high Kevlar for better cut-resistance than leather. Style C have leather foot covers.

Welding Base-Layer Pants

Wear these fitted pants under clothing for an added layer of protection. Made of CarbonX fabric, these pants won’t burn or melt when intermittently exposed to radiant heat, flames, and welding sparks. They have an elastic waistband and knit cuffs to keep pant legs from riding up.
Find your waist size by measuring just above the top of your hip bone.
Heat-Reflective Aluminized Leggings

Often used in steel mills and glass plants, aluminized clothing reflects radiant heat and protects against sparks and molten metal splashes. These leggings protect your shins and the top of your feet. They have a hook and loop closure to adjust the fit and a pull tab for quick removal.
Rayon provides good radiant-heat protection as well as moderate spark protection.
Carbon/Kevlar aramid blend is a heavyweight fabric that lasts longer than rayon. It holds up in higher temperatures than rayon while providing excellent abrasion and cut resistance.
Flame- and Arc-Flash-Protection Base Layers

Wear these fitted garments under clothing for an added layer of protection against intermittent exposure to flames and radiant heat. They meet NFPA 70E standards for protection against electrical arc flashes for personal protection equipment (PPE) category 1 or 2. Check the PPE category and minimum arc rating provided for your workplace, and then select all required clothing and personal protective equipment to meet the minimum arc rating. Arc rating measures a garment’s ability to insulate the wearer from burns; the higher the arc rating, the greater the flame resistance. All base layer materials are lightweight, breathable, and moisture wicking for added comfort.
They all comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269 standards for flame and arc flash protection.
Cotton/acrylic base layers are stretchy for increased mobility and range of motion.

Cold-Protection Base-Layer Pants

Wear these fitted pants under clothing for an added layer of insulation. Made of moisture-wicking polypropylene, these pants trap heat while allowing perspiration to evaporate. Knit cuffs help conserve heat and keep pant legs from riding up.
Find your waist size by measuring just above the top of your hip bone.
