    Steel Lifting Beams

Keep long and unbalanced loads stable where overhead space is limited. Unlike spreader beams, which require a chain sling to operate, these beams use a single attachment point to hook onto your crane, hoist, or other lifting device. However, using one attachment point instead of two can cause uneven weight distribution and place more stress on the beam. Capacity is marked on the beam.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

    Additional Lower Bracket

Beams with brackets give you more control over where your attachment points are than beams with shackles. Adjust them in 2" increments. For even more stability, add upper and lower brackets (sold separately) to create additional lifting points. You can also use them to replace worn or damaged brackets. Upper brackets are for vertical lifting only. Do not use two upper brackets with a 2-leg chain sling.

Beams with brackets and hand chain let you shift the lifting eye to stabilize loads without taking the beam apart to reposition the upper bail. Lower the load to relieve tension, then pull the hand chain to shift the lifting eye up to 13 1/2" inches to the left or right.

    Spreader Beams

With two lifting points on top instead of one, these beams keep wide and heavy loads more stable than lifting beams. This distributes weight to reduce stress on the beam. However, these beams require more headroom than lifting beams because they attach to a chain sling.
Expand or collapse the beam to fit your load. Hooks at the bottom of the beam swivel for easy positioning before lifting.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Hook slings to these beams to cradle your load for steady lifting. They work together to distribute the weight across multiple lifting points. They’re especially useful for lifting bundles of pipe, rods, and other materials that might shift as you lift. You can adjust where the hooks are on the beam based on your load’s center of gravity, so even lopsided objects stay balanced.
Choose a web sling that is long enough to fit around your object and strong enough to support the load.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

    Magnetic Lifting Beams

    Steel Sheet Not Included

No need for slings or chains—magnets on either side of these beams grip heavy, magnetic items, such as steel sheets and I-beams. They evenly distribute the load across multiple lifting points to maintain balance and stability. Adjust the placement of the magnets using the holes on each end of these beams. An on/off handle engages and releases the magnets.
The listed capacities are based on lifting metal that has a clean, smooth surface. Capacities will be reduced if used on dirty or oily surfaces. Do not use on metal that flexes.
Warning: Never use these to lift people or items over people.
