About Electrical Switches

Choose a switch with the right trigger type, number of inputs, and control functions to power your equipment.

Rocker Switches

The wide surface of these switches makes them easy to press on and off, even if your hands are full and you need to use an elbow. They’re often used as power switches on electronic devices and control panels.

Switches for a 13/16” dia. panel cutout are round, so you can use a drill bit or knockout to install them instead of cutting a rectangular hole.

Illuminated switches are easy to see in dim and dark areas. They come in red and green, so you can color code your set up.

Note: Illuminated switches include a bulb. If wiring the switch and the bulb to the same circuit, the circuit voltage must not exceed the bulb voltage.

Rocker Light Switches

Similar to a seesaw, these switches have an actuator that pivots when pressed to turn them on or off. They’re often used to control lighting, but they also work with AC motor loads up to 80% of the current rating. All fit standard wall plates (not included) and won’t stick out from your wall as much as toggle light switches.

Switches with spring-clamp terminals are quicker to install than those with screw terminals. Just push your bare wires into the connectors.

Illuminated switches glow when turned off, making them easy to spot in the dark.

Wall switch lockouts (sold separately) mount over switches to secure them in the on or off position.

Multi-Way Rocker Light Switches

Also known as three-way switches, these are often used in large, open workspaces and can be wired on opposite ends of the room to control lights on the same circuit. They work in pairs to control lights from two different locations. Actuate the switch by pressing on the wide, flat area. With a slim, low-profile design, they protrude less than toggle switches. All fit standard wall plates (not included).

Switches with spring-clamp terminals install quickly to create a secure connection. Just push a stripped wire into the clamp—no need to bend wire and screw it down.

Wall switch lockouts (sold separately) mount over switches to secure them in the on or off position.
