Ultrasonic transmitters use high-frequency sound waves and are often used to measure water, wastewater, chemicals, and oil but won’t work on vapors, foam, and other media that’s difficult to measure. The included fob allows you to connect your transmitter to your computer, where you'll download software that guides you through the setup process to make sure you get accurate readings. Ultrasonic transmitters with a button interface can be set up and calibrated without the fob.
