Disposable Liquid Samplers
Toss these samplers after you collect and transfer liquid samples—they’re disposable to reduce the risk of cross contamination.
Style C sampler bottles have a leakproof lid, so they’re good for shipping and storing small samples. They have a needle with a luer lock connection, so it's easy to remove or change the needle. The membrane seals automatically after you remove the needle. These samplers come with a tamper seal label to put over the lid, showing if the bottle has been opened.

Liquid Samplers

Steel with
Pull Ring
Collect liquid samples from drums, tanks, and other containers. These samplers open and close, so you can gather samples at a targeted depth in your tank. All are autoclavable, so you can sterilize them with steam.
Stainless steel samplers are the most durable and chemical resistant. They also resist corrosion. Less porous and less likely to scratch than plastic, they’re easy to sanitize. Open and close them by pulling up on the center ring.
Liquid Samplers for Extra-Large Tanks
Lower these samplers with a chain or cable to collect samples from the bottom of large tanks. Also known as bomb samplers, they open automatically when they touch the bottom of the tank or they can be opened manually with a pull line.
Large-Capacity Sterile Disposable Liquid Samplers
Sterilized so they won’t contaminate your samples or lines, these liquid samplers are often used in food processing, pharmaceutical, and biotech applications. Unlike traditional sampling methods such as ladles and cups, they don’t expose samples to the surrounding environment. These samplers use gravity to draw out liquid through the needle directly into the bag. The needle has a luer lock connection, so it’s easy to remove the needle after you take the sample. You can also swap the needle out beforehand if your application needs a different kind.
These bags are best for taking large samples. They’re ISO 10993 compliant, so they’re approved for use in medical devices. They meet USP Class VI, meaning they’re made of plastic that’s been tested to the highest standards to reduce the risk of leaching into biological samples. Manufactured free of contaminants and allergens, they are BPA- and latex-free. They’re also TSE/BSE compliant, so they’ve never come into contact with any animal products.
These liquid samplers are typically used with sampling tube fittings.

Long-Reach Dippers

Sample from large tanks, vats, ponds, and other hard-to-reach places.
Stainless steel bowls resist corrosion and chemicals.
Dippers with a fixed bowl are safe for use with food—they don’t have pins or other small parts that might break off. They’re easier to pour and collect samples with than dippers with a swivel bowl because you have control over how the bowl moves. Dippers with a swivel bowl let you sample from almost any angle. The bowl stays upright even when you move the handle, so there’s little risk of spilling when you move samples. However, you need two hands to empty them.

Plastic Dippers for Harsh Chemicals
Collect and transfer acids, solvents, and other harsh chemicals. The bowl and handle on these dippers are PTFE, so they resist chemicals better than standard plastic dippers. For added durability, the handle has a stainless steel core. The threaded design lets you detach the bowl from the handle for easy cleaning and storage. To make the dipper longer, thread together as many extension handles (sold separately) as you need to reach your desired length.

Stainless Steel Measuring Spoon Sets

Measure small amounts of your material or ingredients. All spoons are stainless steel, so they’re easy to clean and sanitize.
Spoons with a long handle can reach over a foot to get to the bottom of large containers and bulk material sacks.
Flat-bottom spoons rest on surfaces without tipping over. You can use them as weigh boats.
Spoons that meet NSF/ANSI 2 adhere to sanitary standards for food-processing environments.

Stainless Steel Spoons
Scoop, stir, and serve with these spoons. Made of stainless steel, they’re easy to clean and sanitize.
Round-bottom spoons work well for most jobs. They're shaped to get into corners and scrape along the sides of containers. Flat-bottom spoons measure the same volume every time. They stay stable on surfaces when you set them down or use them as weigh boats.
Spoons with a plastic handle are insulated to protect your hand from hot and cold contents. Spoons with a colored handle let you assign colors to specific tasks for quick identification.
Spoons that meet NSF/ANSI 2 sanitary standards are safe to use in food-processing environments.
Spoons with a stop notch have a bump under the handle that prevents them from slipping into containers.

Sanitary Sampling Valves

- Valve Type: Stop Cock
- For Use With: Food, Beverage
- Specifications Met: FDA Compliant 21 CFR 177.2600, FDA Compliant 21 CFR 177.1550
Take liquid samples in sanitary environments—these sampling valves have a hygienic design, so they’re commonly used in breweries and wineries. With a body made of 316 stainless steel and a PTFE plastic seat, they resist the high temperatures and harsh chemicals of clean-in-place (CIP) processes. These valves have an extremely smooth surface, leaving no space for bacteria to grow. Quick-clamp connections, also known as tri-clamp fittings, are easily taken apart for regular cleaning. These valves are self-draining, so previous samples and cleaning chemicals won’t contaminate future samples. Both the seat and the silicone O-ring comply with FDA standards for direct contact with food and beverage.
To take samples, turn the thumb screw to open valves. Hang a bucket for sample collection from the bucket groove. Valves also have a leak detection port that will release a small amount of liquid to let you know when it’s time to replace all the valve seals.
Valves with a bent spout have a tab for connecting carbon dioxide testing devices. They’re often used for carbonated beverages. They shouldn’t be used with liquids that have solids in them, such as the grape skins or seeds in wine, as those can get caught in the outlet.

Sample Spreaders

Smear your samples into thin layers or spread them evenly across a petri dish using these small spreaders.
Style A spreaders produce continuous, paper-thin layers. Their cylindrical body collects excess material on the top of their blade. Made of stainless steel, they resist corrosion and withstand cleaners and chemicals. Sanitize or autoclave them.

Stainless Steel Lab Spoons and Spatulas

Collect, scrape, spread, and transfer small quantities of material—all with a single tool.
U-shaped spatulas have raised edges, so you can transfer powders and granules between containers without losing material. Rounded spatulas are ideal for accessing edges and corners. Use tapered spatulas to scrape material out of tight spots. Straight spatulas offer the largest surface area to scrape and spread materials. You can also use them to cut or divide a sample.
Stainless steel spoons and spatulas can withstand high temperatures. They resist corrosion and chemicals—plus they’re easy to clean. PTFE-coated stainless steel spatulas are nonstick—liquid and powder slide easily off them. The coating meets FDA requirements for use in direct food contact applications.

Stainless Steel Bleed Rings

- For Use With: Air, Natural Gas, Oil, Steam, Water
Create an access point in a pipe line where corrosion is a concern. Often used to relieve pressure or siphon and sample liquids, these bleed rings act as a port between two pipe flanges, eliminating the need to take apart your flanges to get inside. They include a plug, or replace the plug with your own fitting, valve, or probe. Made of stainless steel, these bleed rings resist rusting.
Install these bleed rings between two pipe flanges along with a gasket on both sides to avoid leaks. They’re designed to fit flanges that meet ASME B16.5.
304 stainless steel bleed rings keep corrosion at bay in wet conditions but will start to corrode when exposed to salt water. 316 stainless steel bleed rings withstand wet conditions as well as chemicals and salt water.
