    Lockout Cover

Block access to your entire panel during maintenance and repairs. With these lockouts, you don’t have to spend time locking out individual breakers or fussing with traditional lockout cables. They’re sized to fit common electrical panel widths and adjust for a tight fit to keep people from opening the door. Add a padlock to lock them out and prevent accidental startups during repairs. These lockouts help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147, which requires electrical circuits to be locked out for safety.
Lockout Cover—Cover lockouts are more secure and durable than cable lockouts—they consist of a rigid bar that extends to fit your panel. They’re nonconductive to protect against electric shocks. To install, hook each end under the head of an exposed screw. For wider panels, add an extension bar (sold separately). For panels without exposed screws, remove your panel and attach adapter clips (sold separately) to either side.

    Circuit Breaker Lockout Bars

    (Padlock Not Included)

Snap these bars into place to block circuit breaker switches from being flipped—even large, high-voltage switches. They attach to mounts on either side of your switch to physically block its movement. Secure them with a padlock. Use these lockouts to either keep equipment from starting up when it’s getting repaired or prevent critical equipment from powering down. After you’ve locked out a switch, you can still use the rest of your breaker box. These lockouts help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements for the control of electrical circuits to prevent injuries.
For a complete lockout, you’ll need a bar and two lock mounts. You can either buy them individually or in a kit. Choose a red bar to lock out the off position; choose a green bar for the on position.
