    Lockouts

From a single point, lock out multiple breaker switches—these lockouts wrap around an entire tie bar so it won’t budge. Compared to clamp-on lockouts, they’re more secure because they affix below the switch. They lock with a padlock to keep circuits closed during maintenance. Less disruptive than locking out an entire panel, they lock out one tie bar. You can’t use them on single-pole switches. These lockouts help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements for the control of electrical circuits to prevent injuries.

    Circuit Breaker Lockout Bars

    (Padlock Not Included)

Snap these bars into place to block circuit breaker switches from being flipped—even large, high-voltage switches. They attach to mounts on either side of your switch to physically block its movement. Secure them with a padlock. Use these lockouts to either keep equipment from starting up when it’s getting repaired or prevent critical equipment from powering down. After you’ve locked out a switch, you can still use the rest of your breaker box. These lockouts help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements for the control of electrical circuits to prevent injuries.
For a complete lockout, you’ll need a bar and two lock mounts. You can either buy them individually or in a kit. Choose a red bar to lock out the off position; choose a green bar for the on position.

    Switch

With pins that stick into the holes inside your switch housing, these lockouts are more secure than clamp-on lockouts. They’ll secure tie bars, too—attach them to just one of the switches to lock out the whole thing. Lock them with a padlock to prevent accidental flips during maintenance. These lockouts help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements for the control of electrical circuits to prevent injuries.
