    Silicone Rubber Sealants

Made from silicone rubber, these sealants are RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing). They’re non-sagging, so they won't drip from vertical and overhead surfaces.
Elongation and joint compression/expansion tolerance indicate flexibility—the higher the values are, the more joint movement sealants can sustain. Sealants that are good for joining dissimilar materials also work well in environments with wide temperature fluctuation.

Make tough, flexible, oil-resistant seals. These sealants are non-sagging, so they won't drip from vertical and overhead surfaces. Made from silicone rubber, sealants are RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing). Note: These sealants are not for use on parts that come into contact with gasoline.
Elongation and joint expansion/compression tolerance indicate flexibility—the higher the values are, the more joint movement sealants can sustain. These sealants are best suited to joints between similar materials that aren't exposed to wide temperature fluctuation.

    Structural Sealants

Image of Product. Front orientation. Sealants. Structural Sealants, Cartridge.

    Cartridge

These structural sealants combine the mechanical strength of an adhesive with excellent sealing properties and high flexibility. They’re non-sagging, so they won't drip from vertical and overhead surfaces.
Elongation and joint compression/expansion tolerance indicate flexibility—the higher the values are, the more joint movement sealants can sustain. For joints between dissimilar materials and in environments with wide temperature fluctuation, choose a sealant with a higher elongation or joint compression/expansion tolerance. For high-wear applications, choose a harder sealant for the most abrasion resistance.
Cannot Be Sold To—Structural sealants that cannot be sold to the listed areas are restricted due to VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) regulations.

Formulated for high lubricity, these sealants allow easy assembly of finely threaded hydraulic and compressed air system components. They're also free of fillers that could contaminate system media. These sealants are anaerobic, so they don’t begin to harden until coated surfaces are threaded together, blocking exposure to air.
Medium Locking Strength—These sealants have medium locking strength, which prevents threads from loosening due to vibration and shock. They require a hand tool to unthread.

    High-Strength Self-Leveling Concrete Joint Sealants

Image of Product. Front orientation. Sealants. High-Strength Self-Leveling Concrete Joint Sealants.
Seal concrete joints in high-traffic locations—these sealants stand up to heavy wear and tear, such as steel wheel traffic. Thinner than non-sagging sealants, these flow easily into cracks and have a smooth finish.
Elongation and joint compression/expansion tolerance indicate flexibility—the higher the values are, the more joint movement sealants can sustain. These sealants are best suited to joints between similar materials that aren't exposed to wide temperature fluctuation. Non-Hardening Thread Sealants

Image of Product. Front orientation. Thread Sealants. Non-Hardening Thread Sealants, Applicator-Top Can.

    Applicator-Top Can

Often used in high-vibration applications that could cause standard thread sealants to fail, these never fully harden and remain pliable enough to self-heal and stop leaks before they start. Formulated without PTFE, these sealants are less slippery and less likely to result in overtightenting than sealants that have PTFE, making them good for plastic pipe where overtightening could lead to cracks and breaks. They have low locking strength, so they can be adjusted without tools.

PTFE provides a slippery surface that keeps threads from binding. These sealants are anaerobic, so they don’t begin to harden until coated surfaces are threaded together, blocking exposure to air.

Medium Locking Strength—Sealants with medium locking strength prevent threads from loosening due to vibration and shock. They require a hand tool to unthread.

    High-Temperature Thread Sealants

Image of Product. Front orientation. Thread Sealants. High-Temperature Thread Sealants.
These sealants have high locking strength, so they work in demanding applications, such as securing mounting studs in motor housings. They also withstand applications with large temperature swings.
Heat—Heat cure sealant requires heat of at least 212° F to harden. Above 300° F, the sealant hardens in about 15 minutes. For temperatures below 300° F, it may take up to 4 hours to harden. It requires both heat and a hand tool to unthread.
1,500° F Maximum Temperature—1500° F max. temp. sealants are for use on cement-lined pipe joints prior to welding. The heat from the welding torch helps them begin to harden.

    Drip-Free Thread Sealants with PTFE

Image of Product. Front orientation. Thread Sealants. Drip-Free Thread Sealants with PTFE.
Apply this thread sealant stick without a mess. It contains PTFE, which provides a slippery surface that keeps threads from binding. Since the sealant is anaerobic, it doesn’t begin to harden until coated surfaces are threaded together, blocking exposure to air. It has low locking strength, so it prevents threads from loosening due to vibration and can be adjusted without tools. It meets NSF/ANSI 61 for use with drinking water.

    Non-Hardening Thread Sealants with PTFE

    Applicator-Top Can

PTFE provides a slippery surface that keeps threads from binding. These sealants never fully harden, remaining pliable enough to self-heal and stop leaks before they start, so they’re often used in high-vibration applications that could cause standard thread sealants to fail. Since they have low locking strength, these sealants can be adjusted without tools.
Cannot Be Sold To—VOC regulations restrict sales of sealants that cannot be sold to the listed jurisdictions/areas.

Anaerobic sealants don’t begin to harden until coated surfaces are threaded together, blocking exposure to air. These sealants have medium locking strength, which prevents threads from loosening with vibration and shock. They require a hand tool to unthread.
