Gain extra reach with these shackles. With an elongated body, they can connect loads to an anchor point too far for a standard shackle. They're best paired with chain, since their narrow bow prevents chain links from sliding or moving. These shackles are rated for inline tension only—they can’t handle pulling or tension to the side.
Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
Screw Pin—The most common shackle pin type. Although the pin easily connects and disconnects, it can come unscrewed or wear down over time, so it's best for temporary use.
Locking-Screw Pin—Indentations in the shackle body hold the head of the pin in place once fastened, so the pin won’t loosen from vibration or movement as easily as other screw pins.
Captive-Locking-Screw Pin—The pin on these shackles won’t fall out or get lost. Even when unscrewed, an inner lip on the shackle ear keeps the pin from sliding all the way out. Indentations in the shackle body hold the head of the pin in place once fastened to secure it from vibration and movement.
