Insert these terminals into tiny openings in terminal blocks and other connection points. They're an alternative to threading and poking wire directly into the opening, which can fray the wire and lead to short circuits. Pin terminals are similar to wire ferrules, but they have a rounded, uniform profile that you can solder to holes in printed circuit boards and other thin surfaces. Attach your wire with a crimping tool to avoid a damaged barrel and loose connection.
Vinyl Plastic Insulation—Our basic insulation, vinyl prevents the wire from short circuiting and won’t break down from dirt, grime, and occasional twists and tugs.
Nylon Insulation—In addition to preventing short circuits, this wear-resistant insulation protects wire from vibration and rubbing against nearby edges.
Noninsulated—The basic, economical option when short circuits from nearby wiring aren't a concern.
Brass Internal Sleeve—Metal internal sleeves add holding strength and strain relief to keep the wire secure when bent, pulled, or vibrated.

    Heat-Shrink Pin Terminals

Image of Product. Front orientation. Terminals, Ferrules, and Lugs. Heat-Shrink Pin Terminals.
The heat-shrink plastic protects your wire from cuts and debris to prevent short circuits, while the pin inserts snugly into the tiny opening of your terminal block or other connection point for a solid hold. In addition to a protective seal, the heat shrink distributes strain when the wire is tugged or under tension for long periods. Use a crimping tool to squeeze the wire evenly into the barrel, where it touches the pin to establish conductivity. Then apply heat to seal the plastic onto the wire from all sides.
Polyolefin Insulation—The durable plastic prevents short circuits and maintains a tight seal on the wire when exposed to high temperatures, heavy vibration, and long-term wear and tear from maintenance and adjustment.
Copper Internal Sleeve—Metal internal sleeves add holding strength and strain relief to keep the wire secure when bent, pulled, or vibrated.
