Insulated Pin Terminals
A plastic cover insulates the barrel to prevent short-circuiting with nearby wire. These solid pins make it easier to insert stranded wire into screw-clamp connections. Use a crimper (not included) to install wire.
Nylon-insulated terminals are more durable and resist chemicals better than vinyl-insulated terminals.

Heat-Shrink Pin Terminals
When heat is applied, the insulation on these terminals shrinks, creating a seal that keeps out water and contaminants. The barrel is also insulated to prevent short-circuiting from nearby wire.
