Hazardous Location Strip Machine Lights

12-30V DC

Illuminate machines or monitor processes in areas where flammable or combustible gases may be present, such as during leaks or ventilation failures. These lights are rated for use in NEC Class 1, Division 2 hazardous locations. A durable polycarbonate lens withstands the impact of flying chips and shavings in harsh machine areas.

For additional protection, choose a light rated for more NEC classes. NEC Class II-rated lights protect against flammable and combustible dust. NEC Class III-rated lights protect against flammable and combustible fibers.

IP66 lights withstand high-pressure washdowns. IP67 lights withstand temporary submersion.

Compact Strip Machine Lights

With a slimmer profile than other strip machine lights, these lights fit in tight spots inside machinery because they don’t have a circuit board. They’re often used to light up tool changeovers and other maintenance tasks in cramped machines. The LEDs are sealed in plastic to withstand impact and block out fluid, dust, and debris. IP67 rated, these lights are watertight against temporary submersion, so they can handle your wettest environments. These lights highlight white and blue tones, making them good for inspecting.

Style D have an adjustable mounting bracket that rotates 180°, so you can direct the light where it’s needed. Loosen the fasteners at each end to change its angle.

Long-Reach Machine Lights

Stretch the arm across large machines to bring these lights directly over your workpiece. Also known as articulating arm lights, these lights have rigid sections that hold their position—even when fully extended or exposed to vibration. They’re built from top to bottom to handle the tough conditions near your machine. The head and arm are aluminum, so they stay strong against flying debris and resist corrosion. Their lens is made of heat- and chemical-resistant glass that’s sealed to keep out fluids, chips, and shavings. Dim these lights by pressing down the push button. The longer you press, the dimmer they get.

Style A have knobs to lock the head adjustment in place. Swap in an optional base to change mounting styles.

Pivoting-Head Machine Lights

Direct a beam of light without obstructing machine parts. These lights have a compact head that pivots to aim light just where you need it. Mount them in and around machines—their lens is made of heat- and chemical-resistant glass that’s sealed to keep out fluids, chips, and shavings.

The narrower the beam, the more intense the light. A 10° angle concentrates the beam, so it’s best for inspecting fine details. A 40° angle spreads light across a wider area for general visibility in machines.

Styles A and B can be dimmed by pressing down the push button. The longer you press, the dimmer they get. Style A have a knob to lock the head angle in place. Swap in an optional base to change mounting styles.

IP65 rated lights are dust-tight and protect against low-pressure washdowns. IP67 lights are sealed for protection against dust and temporary submersion.

Mount these lights to a workstation or dry machining center and use the flexible arm to position them close to your task. Also known as gooseneck-arm lights, they hold their shape once you bend them. They have a narrow head that won’t block your view of repairs, inspections, and other detail work.

Style A are the brightest lights, so they’re good for projecting over a large area. They can be fitted with a wire guard (sold separately) for added bulb protection. Add a magnifier (sold separately) for close-up inspection work.
