    Compact Machine Vision Bar Lights

Image of Product. Front orientation. Machine Vision Lights. Compact Machine Vision Bar Lights.
Ranging in size from a domino to a small TV remote control, these lights shine bright, even light from tight spots on your production line. Use them to help your machine vision camera capture a detailed image for inspection. Mount them using the included fasteners and T-slot on the back. You can also arrange them in a square formation to minimize shadows. Each light requires an M12 cord (sold separately) to power it.
White Light—White lights are clean and crisp, giving off cool tones that are ideal for inspection work. They’re a versatile choice to help your camera see objects made of any color. However, they will reflect on shiny surfaces.
Red Light—Red lights won’t create a reflection or glare because the color is absorbed by materials, which makes them ideal for inspecting shiny glass, plastic, or metal objects. By creating a contrasting color, they’ll help you easily spot if a product is contaminated or discolored, or if an unexpected object has found its way into a batch. However, red lights won't create enough contrast to inspect red-colored objects.
Infrared—Infrared lights help you see through material, such as objects wrapped in thin paper, cloth, or plastic. Use them to help you determine the fill level of packages. This light isn’t visible to the human eye, so it won’t create a glare on objects and won’t strain your eyes.

    Machine Vision Bar Lights

Image of Product. Front orientation. Machine Vision Lights. Machine Vision Bar Lights.
The most versatile of our machine vision lights, these bar lights can be used alone, installed side-by-side, or assembled into a ring light. When used alone, they illuminate a single strip of light; when multiple are installed next to each other, they flood your inspection area with light. When multiple are configured into a ring around your camera, they give you bright, even light aligned with the camera's field of view. Though these lights look like workspace lights, they shine a focused strip of light for inspection instead of giving off ambient light. Position them directly over the object your camera is inspecting or angle them for a better look at surface defects. An M12 cord (sold separately) is required to power these lights.
Each light includes a T-slot channel for mounting—keeping your set up modular and easy to adjust. Mount them to T-slotted framing with the included fasteners. Or, add a mount (sold separately) to secure the light to a stand or a nearby surface.
White Light—White light beams are clean and crisp, giving off cool tones and uniform lighting ideal for inspection work. They’re a versatile choice to help your camera see objects made of any color. However, white light creates reflections on shiny surfaces.

    Machine Vision Spot Lights

Highlight small, specific areas with intensely bright light to help your machine vision camera home in on the details of your product. You can also position these lights to cast shadows to help your vision sensor detect the presence or absence of a feature on an object. Smaller than a hockey puck, these lights fit in tight spaces, so you can position them exactly where you need them. Each light requires an M12 cord (sold separately) to power it.
Add a mount to secure your light.
White Light—White lights are clean and crisp, giving off cool tones that are ideal for inspection work. They’re a versatile choice to help your camera see objects made of any color. However, they will reflect on shiny surfaces.

    Machine Vision Backlights

Image of Product. Front orientation. Machine Vision Lights. Machine Vision Backlights.
Detect edges, take measurements, and spot holes with your machine vision camera by passing objects over these backlights. They cast even, low-intensity light that sits opposite from your inspection camera to produce a silhouette for your camera to focus on. Each backlight requires an M12 cord (sold separately) to power it.
Add a mount to secure your backlight to a load-bearing surface.
White Light—White lights produce clean, crisp illumination in blue and white tones, which is ideal for inspection work.
By creating a contrasting color, they’ll help you easily inspect the edges and contours of an object. However, red lights won't create enough contrast to inspect red-colored objects.
IP67 Enclosure Rating—Backlights with an IP67-rated housing are sealed to keep out dust and moisture, so you can use them on the floor below your conveyor or even submerge them in water.

    Accessories for Machine Vision Lights

    Machine Vision Ring Lights

Surround your camera with light for perfectly aligned brightness. These small and lightweight ring lights are mounted directly around your machine vision camera or vision sensor. You can synchronize these lights with your camera, so they flash as images are captured. To attach them directly to your camera, you'll need a mount (sold separately). If you'd rather mount them to a frame or stand, they have a T-slot on the back and come with mounting fasteners. Each light requires an M12 cord (sold separately) for power.
    Rectangle
Image of Product. Front orientation. Machine Vision Lights. Machine Vision Ring Lights, Rectangle.
Rectangular lights shine directly onto items. They are brighter than round lights, so they can be farther away.
White Light—White lights are clean and crisp, giving off cool tones that are ideal for inspection work.
Red Light—Red lights won’t create a reflection or glare because the color is absorbed by materials, which makes them ideal for inspecting shiny glass, plastic, or metal objects.
Infrared—Infrared lights help you see through material, such as objects wrapped in thin paper, cloth, or plastic.

    Round
Image of Product. Front orientation. Machine Vision Lights. Machine Vision Ring Lights, Round.
Round lights do not have corners, so they shine light more evenly than rectangular lights. This lets you use them at low angles to highlight surface flaws.
White Light—White lights are clean and crisp, giving off cool tones that are ideal for inspection work.
Red Light—Red lights won’t create a reflection or glare because the color is absorbed by materials, which makes them ideal for inspecting shiny glass, plastic, or metal objects.

    Machine Vision Area Lights

Image of Product. Front orientation. Machine Vision Lights. Machine Vision Area Lights.
Flood bright, even light on parts so your machine vision camera can capture a detailed image for inspection. Use these lights to aid a range of inspections, from examining the surface of your part to making sure your labels are aligned. You can also set them up to cast shadows that make small components, such as a flange, easier for your vision sensor to detect than if using an overhead light alone.
The light isn’t visible to the human eye, so it won’t create a glare or cause eye strain.
