Train and adjust these cameras right from the touchscreen monitor—no computer needed. They recognize defects and alert your system to remove or redirect faulty items on your line. With each image, these cameras also record what problem they were inspecting for with a pass or fail grade, which you can view on the monitor. Program them to check for drilled holes or blemishes, such as scratches. They’re also able to verify if a part or feature has the right shape, orientation, text, or logo. Since these cameras can’t focus on every detail of your part at once, it’s best to inspect for one problem at a time.
Since they come with a lens and light built in, they’re compact and easy to set up. Each image snapped is in grayscale, avoiding color distortions. Both the housing and the lens on these cameras is tightly sealed to keep out dust and moisture in tough manufacturing environments.
The ring light provides illumination from all directions. It gives off crisp cool tones that are ideal for inspection work. However, its white light will reflect on shiny surfaces, which affects accuracy.
Configure the output signal as either PNP or NPN to match the input of your line’s programmable logic controller (PLC) or other control device.

    Camera with Light

    Camera with Ring Light

Automate quality checks on your line—these cameras can detect if a part has missing pieces, misprinted labels, or other defects, then alert your system to pull it off the line. They come with a lens and a light built in, so they’re compact and simple enough to set up on your own. Use a computer and the included software to train them on what objects to focus on and what problems to look for with just a few images. You can teach them to count objects as they go by and even measure the distance between edges. They’re also able to check printed text and characters against a template and make sure barcodes are scannable. Or, to help with tracking and inventory, use these cameras to scan serial numbers and barcodes. They work with both standard 1D barcodes and 2D barcodes, such as QR codes.
These cameras capture high-quality images in grayscale that aren't distorted by color variation. The camera lens, also known as a liquid lens, automatically focuses on objects as they pass by on lines moving as quickly as a brisk walk. Without moving parts that could wear down over time, it lasts longer than a traditional geared autofocus lens. However, it can’t focus on every aspect of an object at once, so it’s best to inspect for one problem at a time. With each image, these cameras also record what problem they were inspecting for along with a pass or fail grade.
Mount them directly to a machine on your line—no mounting brackets needed. Built for tough manufacturing environments, these cameras have a rugged case that protects them from dust and water. You’ll need a cord (sold separately) to connect them to your network. Configure the output signal as either PNP or NPN to match the input of your programmable logic controller (PLC) or other control device.
Cameras with light are a great option when inspecting reflective objects, such as metallic surfaces, since they don’t cause excessive glare.
Wide Lens—Cameras with a wide lens are best for inspecting larger details, like how many eggs are in a carton or if a jug has a spout or not.
Medium Lens—Cameras with a medium lens catch whether a bottle cap has a seal and other details that are too small for cameras with a wide lens.
Narrow Lens—Cameras with a narrow lens focus on small, specific areas, making them a good choice for checking the solder joint on a printed circuit board.
Ring Light—Cameras with ring light provide illumination from all directions.
White Light—Cameras with white light give off clean, crisp, cool tones that are ideal for inspection work. However, the white light will reflect on shiny surfaces.
Red Light—Cameras with red light won’t create a reflection or glare because the red color is absorbed by materials, which makes them ideal for inspecting shiny glass, plastic, or metal objects. However, cameras with red light won't create enough contrast to inspect red-colored objects.

An all-in-one solution for equipment monitoring. These cameras include a lens, sensor, and all the accessories you need to use them out of the box. Use them to keep an eye on harsh industrial processes from a safe distance by placing these cameras inside your machine. They've been tested to handle shock and vibrations as intense as those from your CNC milling machine. Use them to spot problems in your process or monitor for needed maintenance. With a frame rate comparable to a high-definition sports broadcast, they capture crisp, clear video of quick-moving processes. Connect them directly to a monitor with the HDMI cable to watch live footage—no PC required. An included remote lets you control the camera’s integrated software to overlay crosshairs and darken shadows, bringing the image into focus. Install these cameras inside a clear enclosure to protect against dust, debris, and fluids.
Equipment Monitoring Cameras with Light Settings—Cameras with lighting settings come with additional software to fine-tune your camera’s settings, such as the white balance and exposure time. Use a PC to adjust the camera’s exposure time, the balance between brightness and clarity, and the frame rate.

    Machine Vision Ring Lights

Surround your camera with light for perfectly aligned brightness. These small and lightweight ring lights are mounted directly around your machine vision camera or vision sensor. You can synchronize these lights with your camera, so they flash as images are captured. To attach them directly to your camera, you'll need a mount (sold separately). If you'd rather mount them to a frame or stand, they have a T-slot on the back and come with mounting fasteners. Each light requires an M12 cord (sold separately) for power.
    Rectangle

Rectangular lights shine directly onto items. They are brighter than round lights, so they can be farther away.
White Light—White lights are clean and crisp, giving off cool tones that are ideal for inspection work.
Red Light—Red lights won’t create a reflection or glare because the color is absorbed by materials, which makes them ideal for inspecting shiny glass, plastic, or metal objects.
Infrared—Infrared lights help you see through material, such as objects wrapped in thin paper, cloth, or plastic.

    Machine Vision Bar Lights

Image of Product. Front orientation. Machine Vision Lights. Machine Vision Bar Lights.
The most versatile of our machine vision lights, these bar lights can be used alone, installed side-by-side, or assembled into a ring light. When used alone, they illuminate a single strip of light; when multiple are installed next to each other, they flood your inspection area with light. When multiple are configured into a ring around your camera, they give you bright, even light aligned with the camera's field of view. Though these lights look like workspace lights, they shine a focused strip of light for inspection instead of giving off ambient light. Position them directly over the object your camera is inspecting or angle them for a better look at surface defects. An M12 cord (sold separately) is required to power these lights.
Each light includes a T-slot channel for mounting—keeping your set up modular and easy to adjust. Mount them to T-slotted framing with the included fasteners. Or, add a mount (sold separately) to secure the light to a stand or a nearby surface.
White Light—White light beams are clean and crisp, giving off cool tones and uniform lighting ideal for inspection work. They’re a versatile choice to help your camera see objects made of any color. However, white light creates reflections on shiny surfaces.
Red Light—Red lights won’t create a reflection or glare because the color is absorbed by materials, which makes them ideal for inspecting shiny glass, plastic, or metal objects. By creating a contrasting color, they’ll help you easily spot if a product is contaminated or discolored, or if an unexpected object has found its way into a batch. However, red lights won't create enough contrast to inspect red-colored objects.
Infrared—Infrared lights help you see through material, such as objects wrapped in thin paper, cloth, or plastic. Use them to help you determine the fill level of packages. This light isn’t visible to the human eye, so it won’t create a glare on objects and won’t strain your eyes.

    Machine Vision Area Lights

Image of Product. Front orientation. Machine Vision Lights. Machine Vision Area Lights.
Flood bright, even light on parts so your machine vision camera can capture a detailed image for inspection. Use these lights to aid a range of inspections, from examining the surface of your part to making sure your labels are aligned. You can also set them up to cast shadows that make small components, such as a flange, easier for your vision sensor to detect than if using an overhead light alone. Each light requires an M12 cord (sold separately) to power it.
White Light—White lights are clean and crisp, giving off cool tones that are ideal for inspection work. They’re a versatile choice to help your camera see objects made of any color. However, they will reflect on shiny surfaces.

    Machine Vision Backlights

Image of Product. Front orientation. Machine Vision Lights. Machine Vision Backlights.
Detect edges, take measurements, and spot holes with your machine vision camera by passing objects over these backlights. They cast even, low-intensity light that sits opposite from your inspection camera to produce a silhouette for your camera to focus on. Each backlight requires an M12 cord (sold separately) to power it.
Add a mount to secure your backlight to a load-bearing surface.
White Light—White lights produce clean, crisp illumination in blue and white tones, which is ideal for inspection work. They’re a versatile choice to help your camera see objects made of any color. However, they will reflect on shiny surfaces.
Red Light—Red lights won’t create a reflection or glare because the color is absorbed by materials, which makes them ideal for inspecting shiny glass, plastic, or metal objects. By creating a contrasting color, they’ll help you easily inspect the edges and contours of an object. However, red lights won't create enough contrast to inspect red-colored objects.
IP67 Enclosure Rating—Backlights with an IP67-rated housing are sealed to keep out dust and moisture, so you can use them on the floor below your conveyor or even submerge them in water.

    Compact Machine Vision Bar Lights

Image of Product. Front orientation. Machine Vision Lights. Compact Machine Vision Bar Lights.
Ranging in size from a domino to a small TV remote control, these lights shine bright, even light from tight spots on your production line. Use them to help your machine vision camera capture a detailed image for inspection. Mount them using the included fasteners and T-slot on the back. You can also arrange them in a square formation to minimize shadows. Each light requires an M12 cord (sold separately) to power it.
White Light—White lights are clean and crisp, giving off cool tones that are ideal for inspection work. They’re a versatile choice to help your camera see objects made of any color. However, they will reflect on shiny surfaces.
