Contact Blocks for Manual Switches

Make or break an electrical circuit. These contact blocks mount to manual switches and transmit an electrical signal when the switch actuator is engaged. You can stack multiple blocks, so a single switch can control several circuits. This is helpful in setups that require multiple systems to turn on or off at the same time. For example, the switch on a conveyor line could turn off the conveyor and turn on a diverter and alarm.

Motor Switches

Use these switches to turn motors on and off, or to control lighting and electric heat circuits. They do not provide overload protection.
Toggle switches work like a traditional light switch—just flip the toggle up or down. Even if you’re wearing thick gloves, they’re easy to actuate.
Lever switches aren’t easily activated by accident, since you have to grab and twist the lever on or off. They’re useful in crowded or high-traffic spaces where they might be bumped into.
Finger guards (sold separately) cover the screw terminals on your switch, blocking you from touching a live wire. If you need to move the terminal block, they prevent accidental shock.

Enclosure Motor Switches

Designed to mount on an electrical enclosure, these switches control motors, lighting, and electric heat circuits. Your enclosure door will only open when the switch is turned to the off position. This ensures equipment is safely off before you open the electrical enclosure. For an extra layer of safety, use a padlock (not included) on the actuator lever to lock switches in the off position. These switches do not provide overload protection.
Cut the shaft to fit your enclosure. Mount to a DIN rail inside an enclosure; mounting depth is the distance from the panel door to the DIN rail.

Enclosed Motor Switches

These switches are housed in a plastic enclosure. Since they’re already protected, you can mount them to a wall if there’s no space left in your electrical panel. You can also turn them into a handheld control and move them around your workstation by attaching a cord and cord grip. The enclosure is PBT polyester, so it won’t swell in moist environments. Easy to operate even if you’re wearing gloves, flip the toggle switch up and down. Use these switches to turn motors on and off, or with lighting and electric heat circuits. They do not provide overload protection.

Hazardous Location Enclosed Motor Switches

Safely turn motors on and off near ignitable gases and dust—the housing on these switches seals in anything that could ignite flammable material. Made from aluminum, the housing is lightweight and durable. It guards against water, oil, and other materials that could cause damage. Even in harsh conditions, there’s no need to mount these switches inside an electrical panel.
You need to grip and twist the lever to actuate these switches, so they won’t accidentally turn on or off if something bumps into them. In addition to starting and stopping motors, they work with other circuits, such as lighting and electric heat circuits. They don’t provide overload protection.

Washdown Enclosed Motor Switches

Steel Housing
and Lockout

Housing, Lockout,
and Power Indicator
Install these switches in areas with oil, coolant, corrosive chemicals, and regular washdowns. They're rated IP69K and NEMA 4X and 12 or 12K. Since they’re already protected inside a housing, you can mount them to a wall if there’s no space left in your electrical panel. You need to grip and twist the lever to actuate, so they won’t accidentally turn on or off if something bumps into them. To lock them in the off position, attach a padlock (not included) to the lever. Use these switches to turn motors on and off, or with other circuits such as lighting and electric heat circuits. They do not provide overload protection.
Switches with a plastic housing can be turned into a handheld control for moving around your workstation by attaching a cord and cord grip. The housing is PBT polyester, so it won’t swell in moist environments.
Switches with a power indicator use LED lights to show the status of power flowing into the switch and power flowing from the switch to your motor. This can help you check for issues, such as a welded contact or phase loss, without having to open the housing.

Raintight Enclosed Motor Switches

Start and stop motors outdoors and in other wet environments. Rated NEMA 3R, these switches seal out rain and light splashes. They’re housed in a protective aluminum enclosure, so you don’t need to mount them inside an electrical panel. The enclosure is lighter in weight than stainless steel enclosures yet still stands up to water and oil.
In addition to turning motors on and off, these switches work with other circuits, such as lighting and electric heat circuits. They do not provide overload protection.
