Moisture-Resistant Grease





Formulated to adhere to metal parts and stay in place in wet environments, this grease is commonly used in pulp and paper manufacturing and water management facilities.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 0 is about the consistency of brown mustard. NLGI 1 is about the consistency of tomato paste. NLGI 2 is about the consistency of peanut butter.
Mineral-oil-based grease, derived from petroleum, is usually more economical than synthetic-oil-based grease. Synthetic-oil-based grease lasts longer than mineral-oil-based grease and generally withstands a wider range of temperatures.
Grease with lithium thickener offers good heat resistance. Grease with aluminum thickener has excellent oxidation resistance. Grease with silica thickener has excellent heat resistance and good oxidation resistance. Grease with calcium sulfonate thickener has good heat resistance and excellent oxidation resistance.
Grease with PTFE has small particles of PTFE that reduce friction and help the grease maintain its lubricity. Grease with moly (molybdenum disulfide) has excellent resistance to wear and can withstand high-load and high-pressure applications. Grease with zinc neutralizes acid and is a good replacement for leaded grease. Grease with boron nitride cures to a semi-dry film that resists corrosion from salt water and won’t wash off.
Grease lubricates most efficiently within the listed temperature range. Melting temperature is the point at which grease will fail and run out of equipment, leaving it to run dry.

Heavy Duty Moisture-Resistant Grease


Waterproof and heat-resistant, this grease can be autoclaved without washing out of equipment. It's chemically inert, so it won't interact with process fluids.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 3.5 is between the consistency of vegetable shortening and frozen yogurt.
Grease lubricates most efficiently within the listed temperature range. Melting temperature is the point at which grease will fail and run out of equipment, leaving it to run dry.
Biodegradable Moisture-Resistant Grease

Protect equipment while having a limited impact on the environment. This grease resists moisture but is still considered an Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant (EAL) by the EPA’s Vessel General Permit. To qualify as an EAL, a lubricant must be able to quickly break down in water.

Moisture-Resistant Bearing Grease




Made with moisture-resistant thickeners, this grease stays in place in wet environments. It is wear resistant for use in a wide range of bearings.

Moisture-Resistant Open Gear and Chain Grease


Made with moisture-resistant calcium sulfonate thickener, this grease resists washing off and reduces corrosion in wet environments while still lubricating under heavy loads. Its zinc additive neutralizes acid and makes it a good replacement for leaded grease. Tackier than gear box grease, it sticks to open gears and roller chain.

Chemical-Resistant Seal and O-Ring Grease


Fluorocarbon and fluorinated polymer thickeners add chemical resistance to this grease. It remains intact when exposed to water and most solvents and chemicals. Apply directly to plastic and rubber seals and O-rings to prevent drying and cracking.

Moisture-Resistant Antiseize Lubricants



Prevent parts from locking or corroding together even when exposed to wet environments—these lubricants stay in place in the presence of water. Also known as thread lubricants, antiseize lubricants prevent threaded fasteners and close-fitting parts from locking together due to corrosion, contamination, or heat.
Lubricants with calcium sulfonate work well in high-humidity and marine applications. Lubricants with aluminum are white, so they can be used in areas where cleanliness is a concern. Lubricants with zinc form a coating that protects aluminum against corrosion.
