Two-Speed Two-Action Air-Operated Air Directional Control Valves
Often used to extend and then retract a cylinder at different speeds, these valves create two actions and have two exhaust ports, which allows you to control the speed of each action by attaching a flow control valve to each exhaust port. Also known as pilot valves and 4-way valves, they use an air signal to actuate, so they're good for environments where electrical use may be dangerous. They direct airflow from the inlet to your equipment and exhaust return airflow to create motion.
Valves without air-assisted spring return actuation go back to their starting position as soon as the air supply is removed.
Those with air-assisted spring return actuation require you to supply air to port P to go back to their starting position.
Valves with air pilot return actuation go back to their starting position when the air supply is moved from the first air pilot to the second air pilot.
NPTF (Dryseal) threads are compatible with NPT threads.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is a measurement that indicates how much airflow can pass through a valve.

Two-Speed Two-Action Air-Operated Air
Directional Control Valves with Full Shut-Off
In the off position, these valves stop equipment in a locked position with air pressure holding it in place. Often used to extend and then retract a cylinder at different speeds, they create two actions and have two exhaust ports, which allows you to control the speed of each action by attaching a flow control valve to each exhaust port. They actuate by air signal, so they're good for environments where electrical use may be dangerous. Valves direct airflow from the inlet to your equipment and exhaust return airflow to create motion. Return actuation is by air, so they go back to their starting position when the air supply is moved from the first air pilot to the second air pilot. Also known as 4-way and 5/3 closed center valves.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is a measurement that indicates how much airflow can pass through a valve.

Single-Action Air-Operated Air Directional Control Valves
These valves create one action, such as extending a cylinder. Also known as 3/2 or pilot valves, they use an air signal to actuate, so they're good for environments where electrical use may be dangerous. They direct airflow from an inlet to your equipment and exhaust return airflow to create motion. In the off position, they exhaust air pressure from the system, allowing equipment to reset so the action can be repeated.
Normally closed valves normally block airflow, and remain closed until actuated. Valves that are both normally closed and normally open can be installed to normally block airflow, or to normally allow flow and remain open until actuated.
Valves with spring return actuation go back to their starting position as soon as the air supply is removed. Valves with air pilot return actuation go back to their starting position when the air supply is moved from the first air pilot to the second air pilot.

Threaded Air-Driven Diverting Valves
- Valve Type: Ball
- For Use With: Air, Argon, Helium, Krypton, Neon, Oil, Steam, Water, Xenon
- Seal Material: PTFE Plastic

To divert flow between ports more quickly than motor-driven valves, these operate on compressed air. You must control the air to the actuator using either the included electric pilot valve or a manual on/off valve (not included). Valves don’t require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation. The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and wear. Valves are standard port, so they slightly restrict flow.
Air-to-divert/air-to-return valves require air pressure to divert flow to the right-port outlet and air pressure to return flow to the left-port outlet.
Air-to-divert/spring-return valves require air pressure to divert flow to the right-port outlet. They automatically return flow to the left-port outlet when the air turns off to ensure the valve only diverts flow to the right port when air is on.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

- Seal Material: Viton® Fluoroelastomer Rubber
Automatically divert flow between ports in flanged pipelines with these valves that operate on compressed air for faster actuation than motor-driven valves. You must control the air to the actuator using either an electric pilot valve (sold separately) or a manual on/off valve (not included). Valves do not require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation. Valves are standard port, so they slightly restrict flow.
The actuator is secured to the valve body with a bracket for easy disassembly, maintenance, and repair. A visual flow indicator on the top of the actuator shows which direction flow is being diverted.
