It also prevents denting and abrasion on the angled, curved, and irregular edges rigid metal trim can't handle. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel keeps its strength and finish through rain, dirt and grime, and washing with chemicals.
Nylon-Coated Stainless Steel—The smooth coating is less likely to mar or scratch the surface than uncoated stainless steel trim. However, uncoated trim stays strong and flexible at temperatures almost three times as high.

Parallel Teeth—With twice the grip strength of trim with alternating teeth, this trim stays put through heavier vibration and shocks. It also bends sideways up to 90°, so one strip will conform to a complex or cylindrical profile, such as a U-channel or pipe end.
