High-Tension Seals for Plastic Strapping

Crimp these seals with a sealer to hold strapping in place after pulling it tight with a tensioner.
Open seals are for use on flat surfaces. They snap onto overlapping strap ends during or after application of tension.
Closed seals are for use on irregular surfaces as well as rounded objects. They feed onto strap ends before tension is applied.
Serrated seals have teeth for a stronger hold than smooth seals.
Note: To match with compatible strapping, choose items with the same strapping material and width or material and strapping group number.

Seals for Metal Strapping

Use a sealer to crimp these seals onto metal strapping to keep it under tension.
304 stainless steel seals are more corrosion resistant than zinc-plated steel seals.
Open seals are for use on flat surfaces. They snap onto overlapping strap ends during or after application of tension. Closed seals are for use on irregular surfaces as well as rounded objects. They feed onto strap ends before tension is applied with a tensioner.
Note: To match with compatible metal strapping, choose items with the same strapping material and width or material and strapping group number.

Buckles for Light Duty Metal Strapping

Use these buckles to secure Light Duty Metal Strapping around pipe or packages. They feed onto strap ends before tension is applied with a tensioner.
Aluminum buckles are lightweight.
304 stainless steel buckles have good corrosion resistance.
316 stainless steel buckles have better corrosion resistance than aluminum and 304 stainless steel buckles.
Note: To match with compatible metal strapping, choose items with the same strapping material and strapping group number.

Sealers for Metal Strapping

Also known as crimpers, these sealers secure seals (sold separately) onto metal strapping.
Sealers for open seals cut two notches on each side of the seal with one operation. Sealers for closed seals cut a single notch on each side of the seal with one operation. For best results, apply two notches per seal.
Note: To match with compatible strapping, choose items with the same strapping material, width, and thickness or material and strapping group number.

Adhesive-Back Frame-Mount Weatherstripping

No need to drill mounting holes, this weatherstripping has a peel-and-stick adhesive backing. Mount it to the sides and top of a door or window frame to seal gaps. The adhesive is made of acrylic for a waterproof and weatherproof bond.
V-strip seals are made of stiff, folded material. One arm mounts to your door frame while the other presses firmly against the door to block airflow. They’re also known as tension seals. Stainless steel seals are stronger than rubber ones and more corrosion resistant than bronze ones. Often used in marine environments and food plants, they won’t degrade from contact with mild chemicals or detergents.

Double-Door Weatherstripping
Seal the space between your double doors.
Flat seals create a solid barrier to block drafts, light, and moisture. Mount along one door’s edge so the seal covers the other door, or mount a strip to each door so the seals overlap. Steel seals are stronger and more rigid than plastic and rubber seals, so they’re used as a barrier that keeps one door from swinging past the other. Stainless steel seals are just as rigid as steel and won’t corrode from chemicals or detergents, so they’re often used in food industry and marine environments.

Non-Bonding Heat Transfer Compounds

Also known as thermal paste, these boron-nitride compounds increase heat transfer between parts while preventing them from sticking. Unlike antiseize compounds, they don't conduct electricity, so you won't risk shorting out sensitive electronics. They're often used on thermocouple probes to improve accuracy. You can also use them in 3D printer heating blocks and other high-temperature areas to keep parts from fusing together.
