High-Capacity Press-Fit Leveling Mount Inserts

Rated for high load capacity, use these inserts to connect threaded leveling mounts to machinery, instrument bases, and conveyor equipment with tubular legs. These inserts have pass-through holes that are partially threaded at the base. Tap mounts into place with a rubber hammer.

Press-In Threaded Inserts for Soft Metal

Add threads to untapped holes in aluminum and other soft metal. Since these inserts are tapered, they align with the hole as you press them in. The knurls grip the material to keep inserts from twisting once installed. Inserts can also be used to add threads to tubing. Install them with an arbor press or similar pressure tool.

18-8 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these inserts resist rust and mild chemicals.

Zinc-Plated Steel—A step up from plain steel, the plating withstands occasional exposure to moisture.
