    Plain Thimble

    Use these micrometer heads in jigs, fixtures, machine tools, movable tables, and other equipment that require precise adjustments. They are held in place by the cylindrical mounting hub using your existing brackets or fixtures. Spindle length is the maximum extended distance when the micrometer head is set at zero.
    Plain Thimble—Plain thimbles turn freely without friction or a stopping device and rely on operator feel for accurate measurements.
    Clamp Nut—Clamp nuts securely hold the micrometer head and provide extra support.
    Locknuts—Locknuts lock the spindle in place.
