MIG Gun Nozzles

Direct shielding gas towards welds and protect contact tips from molten metal.
Recessed nozzles are the most common and work well in most welding applications. They let your wire stick out 1/2-3/4” from the contact tip, so the tip is away from the high heat of the arc and lasts longer. When your wire sticks out, there is also less of a chance it will melt and fuse to the contact tip.
Flush nozzles let your wire stick out 1/4”-1/2” from the contact tip, so the tip is close to your workpiece. These nozzles are good for welding thin materials under low voltages, decreasing the risk of burning through your workpiece.
