Developed to stand up to mining slurries, including those containing coal, this hose can handle your most abrasive mixtures of water and solids. It combines our toughest interior material, gum rubber, with a vibration-resistant ribbed construction that is reinforced with fabric and steel wire. This hose is sturdy enough to be a flexible alternative to steel pipe and is often used as a connector between misaligned metal pipes. Since it stands up to vacuum, you can also use it to suction or discharge wet abrasive materials. Made of blended rubber, the cover won’t degrade from ozone or UV light.

When the yellow interior starts to wear away, it’s time to rotate or replace the hose.

Flanges (sold separately) come in two halves that fit snugly over the hose. They bolt together, so there’s no need for crimping.
